Due to customers not turning up for appointments, I have now put in place a 50% charge for no shows. If I'm informed that you cannot make your appointment 24 hours before then no charge will be incurred. Also I understand that sometimes things can be difficult in the current climate. Please let me know if you are not able to attend your appointment as I have a waiting list of new customers who want to be on my books.
I am sorry that it has come to this, but I am afraid I cannot financially afford for customers to forget appointments

Covid lockdown update Jan 2021

I have just received information from the Health and Safety Business Engagement Manager covering Health and Safety Animal Activity

It is acceptable for grooms to take place, and is not a legal requirement for dog groomers to close, but the groomer will need to justify why they are grooming.

Customers who already have appointments should evaluate whether the groom is needed in lockdown or whether it could be put back a few weeks. If you have an appointment it still stands, but if you feel the need to alter an appointment due to lockdown restrictions please get in touch.

Please take into consideration that police are being particularly vigilant in regards to essential journeys.

It is acceptable for grooms to take place if you feel it is for the health and wellbeing of your animal.

The Government aims to curb the transmission of Covid-19 and to save lives by reducing the movement of people through them staying at home; and by them adopting social distancing measures and hygiene protocols. PIF strongly believes that the best way for pet service businesses to act in these circumstances is to temporarily close their businesses during this Covid-19 outbreak in order to keep them, their families and their customers safe. PIF hopes that many pet service businesses will be able to join the ones who have already closed to protect people from catching Covid-19. Whilst government information is still forming, the decision to close comes down to the individual business owner, unless new government guidance is issued which is beyond doubt.

Important Update

Dog grooming is essential. Despite the awful situation we find ourselves in, it must be business as usual for our fluffy friends. Therefore, in order to keep everyone safe, customers will not need to enter the groom room, we will take your dog from you at the door.
Any elderly customers who are not able to leave their home, please give us a call, we are happy to collect
