Thank you all for the lovely messages and comments .
It’s been a very long week waiting for her to come home. For a small girl the house feels very empty without her little shadow following me around.
I’d like to say a huge Thankyou to Tine & Emily from Paws Over The Rainbow who made her passing a kind, smooth and sensitive transition and their wonderful service. 💖

We had Another fantastic gundog class today with Ember. We had some fantastic retrieves , she was showing lots of steadiness & listening really well. Even got a delivery of the dummy to hand which has been a little tricky in practice ! Enjoying our 1 to 1 time

Today a got my first experience of a Thunderstorm. It was very weird but I was ok …. Until it rained and then I ran back inside to sit and watch in the dry. Mum said I was very brave

Today i went on an adventure with my family. I was very good, although I did ignore mum once when i wouldn’t leave another dog that we met. Lead walking is also still in need of work but I love running with my brother & sister. I was a bit silly though and ran through some stinging nettles and my feet were very itchy which made me cry. The mud bath made them feel better though on the way back . Mum is very proud of me 🥰

This weekend I learned , you can’t walk on water . Water is wet … very wet! I love running, But I love my mum and chicken more !🥰

Off lead fun with my brother & sister . I went for a dip in the pond & chased the ball with Poppy. I love running with Tike but I was very well behaved and came back when mum shouted me . Whistle training is great fun as I get to eat chicken ! Only 14 weeks old 🥰

Today I’m 12 weeks old & mum took me out with my big brother & sisters to a fab place called Beacon Hill for 2 hours with Katie Reed. I was carried for a hour but then I needed a very big wee so mum put me down and I ran my little legs off. I met lots of children, some new things called bikes & another cocker puppy who was just a bit bigger than me. All of the people were so lovely and I was so well behaved. I did some recall training & sit & I was just perfect. I did fall off of the path though and I had to learn how to get out of the hole… mum laughed at me as I looked so tiny . Then mum & Katie too hundreds of photos of us because we are special 🥰

So this week I have started to learn the house routines, I’m a quick learner and know when mum is making my dinner. I follow her to my bedroom to eat. I’m learning to sit and follow mum outside to go to the toilet. Yesterday I didn’t have any toilet accidents in the house but today has been very rainy and I don’t like the wet stuff so have forgotten to go out when need a p*e. I’m crate training too, and mum says I’m being amazing. I don’t cry in my bed , I sit and watch the dogs & wait for my playtime .

Meeting my family for the first time & they made me feel very welcome .
I have been weighed and tip the scales at 4lb. I have a lot of growing to do into a working cocker. But I’m loving my dinners. So I can be big and strong. My favourite is tripe and chicken. But a scrambled egg is very tasty too

Day one of my new life with my new family started with a car journey home sat in my big sister knee. I was so good and sat quietly for the half hour journey. Once home I met my brother & 2 sisters They will be my friends and mentors while I learn how grow into a beautiful clever girl. They love me and said I could stay for a bit if I was a good girl.
