FREEZING TEMPERATURES

Today, we have helped numerous animals via phone calls and new admissions to the centre that have been struggling due to these freezing temperatures that we are experiencing.

This has included a robin with a frozen tail, a hedgehog out during the day and a cygnet struggling on the ice and very lethargic.

Please keep your eyes out for any wildlife in need of assistance during this period. Please contact us on 07951285366 for any advice.

With minus temperatures, It’s safe to say our feathered friends will be feeling the cold today also! ❄️❄️❄️

In the winter months it is vital for birds to feed well to keep them warm, and with food harder to come by and with shorter daylight hours, putting out some bird food can make all the difference to them 🐦‍⬛

As well as feeding them seed, high energy foods such as suet pellets and fat balls are an excellent addition in the winter!

Here is one of our best sellers the Peter & Paul range, which uses only the best quality ingredients where some others can lack.
