Smarties (5 years) and her neutered boar friend Blaze (2 years) are enjoying some home grown mint! We dropped the boys off to be neutered and one of the lovely nurses at Rutland Veterinary Centre gave us a bag of herbs! 🥰
Problably the boys deserved a treat more after their surgery!! 🤕

June is recovering really well from her eye removal! She’s lost a bit of weight, but that’s to be expected. 🐹
She says thank you to everyone who donated, so she now just needs to recover, then she can go off to a new home! 🥰

We have a chirper! I couldn’t work out who it was, but I think it might have been one of the boys who had just arrived!🐹
Not many piggies make this sound, no one really knows why they do it. It could be a danger warning, or a happy sound. I think it’s more likely a warning sound, mostly all the other piggies go very still (not so much this time) and quiet, until it stops.
Charlie is a sweet boy 🥰 it’s taken him a bit longer to settle in, he’s not been eating great, but he’s enjoying some grass! It’s a bit overwhelming, a new place, full of piggies, when you’ve always lived alone! 🐹
The Nest residents are exploring a clean set up, and looking for their hay pile! I moved it to the other end, under the shelf, for a change! 😃🐹
Finally got all the girls out in the huge new run over the weekend! ☀️🐹
We are going to use this space for Coffee, Cuddles and Cake sessions, when the weather allows, over summer! ☕️🧁
This would work especially well for people wanting to sit surrounded by 20 piggies!! 😁🐹
