A first visit to Shampooch and a much needed short haircut 🐾

This little man had to have a shorter haircut than what his owner wanted, but due to the severity of his matted coat it had to be clipped off to relieve his skin of the tight matting. He definitely went home feeling a lot more comfortable. I only ever have the dogs best interest at heart 🤍🐾

Most people believe it will never happen to their dog, yet every year dogs continue to die in hot cars ⚠️

Polling from the RSPCA (England & Wales) has revealed that only 58% of people would NOT leave their dog inside a car on a warm day, meaning more than 40% may potentially put their pets at risk!

Please don’t gamble with your dog’s life. Even if you're leaving them in the car for a minute or two, this could still lead to tragic consequences for your dog. Even if you're parked in the shade with the windows open, a car can still quickly heat up to dangerously high temperatures 🌡️

Remember: 'not long' is too long.

If you see a dog in a hot car showing signs of distress such as panting heavily, drooling excessively, appearing lethargic, drowsy or uncoordinated, collapsed or vomiting, dial 999 immediately.

Remember, if it’s too hot for your hands or your bare feet, then it’s too hot for their paw pads! ⚠️

If you’re unsure whether it’s okay to let your pet go for a walk on pavements, a simple way to test the temperature is by holding your bare skin on the tarmac for five seconds ⏱️

If you find it painful, then your pet will find it painful to walk on!

To protect your pet, it’s best to avoid walks during the hottest part of the day, which is usually between 8am and 6pm. If you can't safely exercise your dog, missing a day won't hurt.

I’ve had an increase in NO SHOWS lately 😏 This is another reminder of my cancellation and no show policy!

We have 1 more beautiful Chocolate medium labradoodle girl available who we call Bonnie 💜 looking for her 5* forever home, now 11 weeks old and will be fully vaccinated. Worming and flea treatment is up to date and also microchipped.
Through no fault of her own, Bonnie returned to us under just 24 hours of leaving. Every puppy can take a while to settle into their new home and she did have a first unsettled night which is to be completely expected. I certainly wasn’t going to turn my back on her, so had her back.
She is the sweetest little girl, who’s very sociable, confident, happy and loves lots of love and fuss. I’ve just starting doing some training with her, which she’s learnt to walk by my side, turn and face me and then sit on command. She’s a very clever little girl and will be a lovely dog for someone that can provide her with 5* love and attention she really does deserve and also to continue with her training ☺️ message me for more info 🐾
