Today was a watershed moment. It was my last salad harvest and delivery for the foreseeable future. I am moving on to pastures new. And I’m leaving the salad (& veg) production in the capable hands of the team, who it has been an absolute pleasure to work with. Big hug to you all.

I starting The Salad Garden over four years ago with very little experience and I created a respected business within the community. It’s been hard work and a massive journey of self growth. And I would never have imagined it would lead me to where it has (more on that in the coming days).

But for now the salad is fresh in and will be next week too. 🙏🏻 enjoy ❤️

We managed to get away for a week in Pembrokeshire - that’s the beauty of freelancing and not running your own market garden. Even though I was on holiday I still kept up my daily meditation practice - sitting by the stream.

Lessons in letting go. I’m currently leaving the land that I have grow on, in ever respect, for four years. My dharma (that which holds you up and catches you if you fall) is leading me elsewhere.

I’ve had two profound experiences on this spot. Both when leaving the garden. Both happened last year on separate occasions.

On one occasion I experienced what I can only call the underworld. An order, a system that is beyond our normal perception where the true workings of our life exist. It was a moment of privilege.

The other was just as profound. I experienced, or witnessed a spherical energy. It wasn’t interested or had no desire to reach out and achieve. It just wanted to create and to play within its own existence. I’m not sure if it was uniquely my energy or again the natural order of things.

I can only assume these experiences where gifted to me through the channels of sobriety and a daily meditation practice, which is mainly practiced on site. In the shed.
