Chloe and Jess are two lovely female kittens that are looking for a family to call their own. They are sisters, five to six months old, spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. They will possibly be a little shy to start but once they know you they are affectionate and playful. They have been used to other cats but we don't know what they are like with dogs. They haven't been used to children but older children that have been used to living with cats may be okay. If you are interested in finding out more about them, please call 0116 288 2014 and have a chat. If you get the answerphone, please leave a message with your name and contact number and we will call you back as soon as we can. We would appreciate it if everyone could share to help find them their new family. Many thanks. ๐Ÿ˜บ

Meet Neo, a lovely two year old all black neutered male cat, vaccinated and microchipped, who's looking for his new forever home. He's been with us for several months as he came into our care with a broken leg, but it's healed really well and he's now raring to go. He has a gentle nature and is very affectionate and playful. He's not been used to living with other cats but with the right introductions it might be worth a try. He doesn't like dogs so he needs a dog-free home. We don't know what he's like with children. If you think Neo is the right cat for you or you just want to know more about him, please give us a call on 0116 288 2014 and have a chat. If you get the answerphone please leave a message with your name and contact number and we will call you back as soon as we can.

We would appreciate it if everyone could share as much as possible. Many thanks. ๐Ÿ˜บ

RUBY - LOST CAT

Ruby is elderly with health problems and a much loved family member who we desperately want home.

Last seen on the morning of Monday 24 July 2023, Meadows Estate, Wigston.

We would be grateful if you could keep a lookout for her and also please check gardens, sheds and garages to see if she has managed to get herself trapped.

Please ring 0116 288 2014 or 07905199705 with any information, good or bad. Many thanks.

The look you get from an ex-feral permanent foster cat after you shut him in the spare room overnight (to make sure he doesn't mysteriously disappear), take him to the vet for his booster, nail clip and blood test and then shut him in the spare room again so that you can give him a good brush to get all the loose fur out. Took him a while to forgive me. ๐Ÿ˜ผ

Two of the kittens we advertised on 18 June have been reserved. We still have two kittens available, one male and one female. Ideally we would like them to go as a pair but would consider rehoming separately under the right circumstances. If you are interested in one or both, please give us a call on 0116 288 2014. If you get the answerphone, please leave a message with your name and contact number and we will call you back as soon as we can. Many thanks. ๐Ÿ˜บ

We are still looking for a new home for Rodney (see his story below). Heโ€™s been with us for about four months now and, although he loves being at his foster home, he deserves a new family to call his own. If you think he could become part of your family or you just want to know more about him, please give us a call on 0116 288 2014 and have a chat. Many thanks. ๐Ÿ˜บ

Rodney is a very affectionate and playful little cat who is looking for a new family to call his own. He is all black, approximately 18 months old, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. We donโ€™t know his background as he came into us as a stray but he has a lovely nature so we think he would be okay with children. If you think he could become part of your family or you just want to know more about him, please give us a call on 0116 288 2014 and have a chat. If you get the answerphone, please leave a message with your name and contact number and we will call you back as soon as we can. We would be grateful if you could please share Rodney's story as much as possible to help find this affectionate boy a new family. Many thanks.

Hi, Moo here again โ€“ you can see my story below for full details. Iโ€™m still living with my lovely foster family but canโ€™t wait for someone to come and see me and offer me a new home of my own. Iโ€™m playful and love a fuss so please ring 0116 288 2014 if you think I might be just what you are looking for to become part of your family. Many thanks, Moo. ๐Ÿ˜บ

Hi, Iโ€™m Moo (not sure about the name but there you go!) and I find myself having to find a new family to live with. Iโ€™m black and white, 12 months old, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. I came in with Dior (see her story above) and we do get on but Iโ€™m not really bothered if I continue to live with her. I like playing and love being fussed. Iโ€™ve not been used to dogs or children but if you give me time to get used to them I might be okay, although I would prefer older ones โ€“ children that is, not dogs. If you would like to come and see me or just want more information, please ring 0116 288 2014 and have a chat. If you get the answerphone, please leave a message with your name and contact number and they will call you back as soon as they can. Many thanks and Iโ€™d really appreciate it if you could share my story as much as possible.

Update on Sydney, aka Stanley (see below). First, apologies but I got the name wrong. His name is actually Stanley, not Sydney. Stanley went to the vet on Monday. He had a follow up X-ray which shows his pelvis has started to heal quite well and he's now on room rest instead of cage rest. He's also been neutered (much to the fosterer's delight, although it will take a couple of weeks for the smell to die down), microchipped and had his first vaccinations. He's also tested negative for FIV and FeLV. Stanley will have another X-ray when he goes back for his 2nd vaccination. Thought you might like to see his X-ray, which shows a particularly nice pair of testicles (which are now ex-testicles)! ๐Ÿ˜บ

This little bunch came into us when they were approximately four weeks old after they were found in someone's garden. Mum's a feral and was around but it was decided to gather these in as she had already moved them once and there was a strong likelihood she would move them again. Many thanks to Sue at Comfy Cats for grabbing them for us. (We are trying to catch mum to get her spayed but no luck so far.) There are two girls and two boys and they are now approximately seven weeks old. They will be going to the vet soon for microchipping and their first vaccinations. They are very playful and friendly and will be ready to go to new families when they are nine to 10 weeks old. If anyone is interested in making them part of their family or you would just like to know more about them, please give us a call on 0116 288 2014. If you get the answerphone, please leave a message with your name and contact number and we will call you back as soon as we can, Many thanks and we would appreciate it if you could share this post as much as possible. ๐Ÿ˜บ

We've got a bit of an orthopaedic wing going on at the moment. Sydney came into us with a broken pelvis and Neo came in with a badly broken leg. They are both on strict cage rest at the moment and getting bored out of their brains. Sydney (the tabby) hopefully will only need the cage rest but Neo has had to have his leg operated on with a plate and screws. Both are doing well so far. Sydney is going to the vet tomorrow for a follow up x-ray and hopefully he will be neutered as he smells quite a bit (the foster home has to hold her breath when she goes into him). Neo and Sydney are both very friendly and when they are ready for rehoming hopefully they will find their new families quickly. ๐Ÿ˜บ

Offer bowls of water aswell as bottles as the metal drinking spout can get too hot, deterring your bunny from having a drink.

EDIT 24 May 2023:
The lovely Layla has now had her dental work done and is ready to find her new family. She only had to have one tooth out and the rest cleaned. Meet the lovely Layla. She's not ready to be rehomed yet as she has got to have some dental work done, but after that we will be looking for a loving new home for her. She's mostly tabby with a bit of white, 8 years old, spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. She is a very affectionate and gentle cat and would make a lovely companion for someone. She would probably prefer a quieter home with no children, she's not been used to living with dogs and we get the impression she hates other cats as she swears at them through the window. She only came into us as her owner had to move and was not allowed to take her. If you are interested in finding out more about her please give us a ring on 0116 288 2014 and have a chat. If you get the answerphone, please leave a message with your name and contact number and we will call you back as soon as we can. Many thanks. ๐Ÿ˜บ

UPDATE
The owner has come forward and he is now back with his family. He had been missing for about six weeks.

*******************************************************************

This lovely cat has come into care after he was taken into a vets as he didn't seem to belong to anyone and he was poorly (he's much better now). He is all black, not neutered or microchipped and not very young but youngish looking, possibly 2'ish. He was wearing a collar. He was in the Wigston area but unknown how long he had been there, however, he could easily have come from further afield as, being unneutered, he was probably out looking for females! If you think he might be your cat or you just want to know more about him, please give us a ring on 0116 288 2014. If you get the answerphone, please leave a message with your name and contact number and we will call you back as soon as we can. Proof of ownership will be required. We'd appreciate it if you could share as much as possible. Many thanks. ๐Ÿ˜บ
