Precious Paws Leicester is a family run business specialising in doggie day care and grooming. We are based in Rothley, Leicestershire and offer a service from 08:00 until 18:00.
We have a total of 2 acres comprising of an enclosed field with agility, a puppy pen and an open space with multiple activities. Plus our cosy building that is filled with beds, cosy corner and sofas!
We are looking for 2/3 daycare assistants to add to our team.
Being a small business we need people who are reliable and passionate about providing the absolute best service for our pooches.
We are looking for people who are:
-Motivated
-Love working with dogs (in all weathers)
-Punctual and reliable
-Energetic and enjoy being part of a team
-Passionate and creative - we love inventing new enrichment games for the dogs!
-Physically fit enough to be on your feet for several hours a day walking and playing with excitable dogs
-show initiative
-good with people as well as pups!
-competent using social media for business purposes
Responsibilities
During the day you will be a carer for our pooches, creating enrichment games, training and assisting with meal times for those dogs requiring food. Making sure they are safe at all times and keeping barking under control when required. You will need to be extremely confident working with large numbers of dogs at a time.
Social Media updates throughout the day so dog parents can see how much fun their dogs are having.
Providing updates and being a friendly face when parents are dropping off and collecting their dog.
Qualifications
Dog related qualification - ideal but not essential (e.g. Animal welfare, handling, behavioural.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Driving Licence desired but not essential
