Dog training & agility club based in Leicestershire.Agility, obedience and puppy training classes available. All classes are one hour in length and are available for dogs of all ages and experience levels. Our training methods are reward based with the emphasis on having fun. Obedience and puppy training classes are in Whetstone, Leicester and held on Monday evenings. Agility training classes are

in Broughton Astley, Leicester and are held on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, during the day time.

We have new six week puppy training courses starting in
Whetstone on:

7 October at 6pm (2 places left)
21 October at 7pm
18 November at 6pm

The benefit of a training class is that there are built in distractions – other puppies and other people!! So many people find that their puppy is completely different out of the house. Seeing other people and other dogs are enough to make your pup forget all the home training you’ve done. Everything outside is so much more exciting. If you can do it in puppy class you can do it on the park, in the street and among other dogs and people.

Our six week consecutive puppy courses cover all the training you will need for a pet dog and includes sit, down, stay, lead walking and coming when called together with lots of things we think you will find useful. At the beginning of each class is a short, supervised off lead period where the puppies are free to get to know each other. Socialisation continues through the lessons as the puppies all work together. There is no sitting around waiting for your turn.
We have a modern and informal approach to training using positive reinforcement. This kind, fair, fun and effective reward based system ensures the puppies enjoy their training. Our dogs do what’s required of them because they want to and not because they are forced to. It’s our job to make sure they want to.

Paws On puppy classes are lively and fun just like the puppies.
Out six week consecutive courses are available to all puppies under 18 weeks old and costs £80. There are always two very experienced trainers in each class.

We currently have some agility places available for small and medium sized dogs.
The classes are held on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays during the daytime at our training venue in Broughton Astley.
Places are allocated on a permanent basis so the place is yours until you decide that you no longer want it. An hours group lesson costs £8 per dog payable four weekly, in advance. Your dog should be over 10 months old, be good with other dogs and people and have a reasonable standard of obedience to include a very good recall.
There are places available on a Thursday and on a Sunday during the daytime.

PUPPY CLASSES

Puppy classes are held on a Monday evening at the United Reform Church, High Street, Whetstone, LE8 6LP.The cost of six consecutive weekly 45 minute lessons is £80 per puppy, payable in advance at the first lesson in cash.

There are two very experienced trainers in each class.

The course covers all the basic training you will need for a pet dog and includes sit, down, stay, coming when called and loose lead walking together with lots of other things we think are useful. The first ten minutes of each class is spent with the puppies off lead getting to know each other. Socialisation continues all through the lesson as the puppies all work together. Puppies can join the class after having had their second vaccination but should be under 18 weeks old at the start of the course.

We have six week puppy training courses starting on Monday 10 June at 7pm and on Monday 8 July at 6pm.
