Sad sad start to the week. My bonkers Bingo is moving South so had his last walk with me and his pals on Monday. We're going to miss him so much with his larger than life personality, making the most of every minute of every day. Always live your best life Bingo B**g. We love you 💕

Tried to get some nice pics of the dogs in the wild flowers. They were quite put out being taken off piste and Georgie point blank refused to follow us into the field and stayed on the path. Stubborn little madam 😂

The day I had been dreading came over the Easter hols. Beautiful Tara has crossed rainbow bridge.

Tara has been with us since we took over doglegs 10 1/2 years ago. She was the last dog left that had been with us from the start. I have so many memories of her that make me smile. She was always led by her stomach- I vividly remember the time she disappeared at Beacon hill. I was running round like a headless chicken looking for her and eventually found her sitting with a couple on their blanket sharing their picnic! Or the time she crawled under the fence at the caravan park by Swithland woods to polish off what someone had put out for the birds. I had to crawl after her through the same tiny gap to get her back!! Over the years I got to know the way she would tilt her nose in the air meaning she was about to go off on a food finding mission and I also got to know the places where I had to put her back on the lead to keep her from wandering. But most of all my memories are of her tail thumping, her joy for life, her love of the water, our little home time routine with the biscuits (watch your fingers!).

She reached the grand old age of 15, but it's still not long enough. She was so loved by all of us and I miss her deeply. Our thoughts are with her lovely family ###
