**OPENING DAY** This has been such a quick turnaround but we are over the moon with how it’s turned out! Today is your opportunity to come and have a nose - we have some goodies as well! Open 9am until 5pm - dogs obviously welcome! 🐶 🐾

Finally finished!! Ullesthorpe - where do we start? 🤪 We have done this salon different to give us a wet room and a styling room - this should ease the clean up and the hair flying all around the salon and keep it a little tidier - emphasis on should! This will also enable us to keep the noise isolated so we can have a conversation with customers without talking over the dryers or interrupting other groomers.This salon hasn’t been without its challenges - nothing major just niggles 🤪🤪 but we aren’t divorced - yet! Thank you to everyone that has supported this dream - without your support this wouldn’t be possible. We are taking new bookings at either Enderby & Ullesthorpe so message to get booked in! 🐶 🐾 ✂️

Ullesthorpe is finally a fully functioning salon! Couple tweaks to get it finished and we will post full progress pics - we are on count down to our official opening day which is this Saturday! We hope to see you there - couple goodies on offer for dogs and humans! For now a little video on where to find us until we get our signage sorted…

An actual end of an era today… The end of era today - the driving away of the last part of our mobile business. This van has served us so well and part of us is gutted to see it go as it was the first part of our business expansion, first step of a husband and wife team and one of the biggest expenses initially to our business that has lead to so many business ventures and opportunities. We look forward to seeing the updates from @spoiltrottengrooming as the van will now be living its new life in Blackpool! Although it marks the end of one era - it’s the beginning of another - from a van, to 2 vans, to a salon and a van, to 2 salons - what next 🤔🤔🤔

Transformation for Teddy the MaltipooFirst time meeting Teddy today and he was an absolute angel on the table - a groomers dream at only 7 months old!

Day 2 and Crufts 2024 completed! We’ve had an amazing 2 days - today was all about watching and admiring the amazing bond between human and dog! Dogs our entire life and we love to see them enjoying and living life to the fullest! Bring on Crufts 2025!

**Did you know we are now stocking natural treats??** As part of keeping everything natural we are now stocking a small amount of all natural but good value treats! We have baked treats which are meat or fish baked with a little oil to help bind - that’s it! These are £3.99 a bag! Then we have some dehydrated treats - turkey liver, sprats and fish skins! No additives or fillers! All super tasty and very good for your dogs! Range from £3.49-£3.99!

How has Nutriment helped us with Martha post op? There is so much variety not just in the flavours of Nutriment but also with supporting a variety of dietary requirements from Puppy to Senior and then from Low Purine to Recovery Support and every dog in between! We were advised to give Martha a bland diet at the start which we had a choice of either chicken or turkey raw food! Then we decided to put her on the recovery support raw food for the next week and half to aid her post op recovery! She loves it all! We have also been topping her dinners with bone broth and frozen sprats to ensure her fluid intake is kept up and the fish aids in omega 3 intake! The options with raw are amazing and by far the best decision we made by switching them to raw food! Easy and they LOVE it!!

**Appreciation Post** One of the best things about our job - getting messages like these - we love doing what we do but what makes it even more special is those little thank yous you send - they instantly bring a smile to our faces whether it’s first time grooming your dog or the thousandth time grooming your dog! This is a snapshot of the messages we have received recently and they mean the world to us so - THANK YOU! Also - credit goes to the whole team for always going above and beyond to achieve the very best they can time and time again! Love to all!

This week is our busiest week of the year and we are surviving on caffeine, sugar and lots of laughter! Thank you all for keeping us going - all year and this week!

💜 Never stop learning 🐾 We had a fantastic time last weekend at our seminar featuring @thepoochery , sponsored by @peanutandpickle We want to thank all the attendees for coming, 22 people bought tickets and attended 😍 and especially thank you to Cass for her wonderful grooming demonstrations, and answering our many questions with expertise and grace. We thoroughly enjoyed our day with you! We were also joined by the amazing @letsgetsharp sharpening up our blades, scissors and garden tools while we were in the seminar. It was a full day of learning new skills and tricks to take back to our everyday grooms. We put together this fun video to give you a snapshot of the day! This is me. The reality of someone that struggles with self praise and been self employed for 9 years - after a while the compliments slow and it becomes the “norm” - no fault of anyone’s just the way it is. A reminder to everyone - it’s ok to feel down even if you know your life is good, pay a compliment to people you’ve known the longest, check in on those you perceive to be ok and finally surround yourself with those that build you up and not break you down. I’ve hesitated posting something like this as I don’t like to post “doom & gloom” but it this is reality sometimes - hoping it helps some of those that are “feeling it”

Did you know that we offer teeth cleaning, using the CleanyTeeth for dogs ultrasonic toothbrush! Here’s a quick video featuring gorgeous Riley demonstrating how we perform a maintenance teeth clean. Gemma was training this day but obviously the team were also hard at work in the salon that day as well. It was hard to cover everything but this is a good snap shot of a typical day for Gemma.
