Looking for a Forever loving home from Love UnderDogs ❀️

πŸšͺπŸŽ„ Behind Door #13 of our Advent Calendar is the one and only Charlie, a fluffy sweetheart and a goofy ball of fun ready to find his forever home! πŸΎπŸ’•

Originally from Spain, Charlie didn't have the easiest start in life, but he's on a quest to find his forever home. 🏑 We've witnessed his confidence blossom, transforming from a shy pup to a playful, cuddly companion during his time at LU.

Charlie loves creating adorable "zoomies" moments, showcasing his mischievous side as this clumsy white cloud bounces around. This cuddle monster has an abundance of love to share once he warms up to you, showering kisses and snuggles while often sitting on your legs for those extra-special tickles. πŸΆπŸ’•

His unique love for food-shaped toys, like his famous chicken, hot dog, and doughnut, will come along when he finds his forever home. πŸ—πŸŒπŸ©
But that's not all – his heart races with joy at the sight of a water hose, turning playtime into an absolute delight! πŸ’¦πŸŽ‰

If you're ready to open your heart and home to this lovable cuddle monster, let's make this holiday season extra special for Charlie. 🎁❀️

Hi Everyone

May I ask you a favour please?
So many people aren't aware of the Ambulance Service for Transportation to Routine and Emergency Appointments and they struggle to get Veterinary care for their pets due to maybe having no family or friends to help them with transport. Please share my page and ask your friends to share and like the page. Some pets suffer because they don't get help with illness, injury, disease etc. Help these animals by getting the word to the owners.
Thanks in advance, take care x

Have you got a tortoise currently in hibernation?

If so, it is important to monitor their weight weekly and compare that recorded on day one of hibernation to ensure their hibernation is going well. Tortoises should not lose more than 10% of their day one bodyweight. If this happens during hibernation, then hibernation should be stopped, and a vet should examine them to determine if the illness is the cause of the greater-than-normal weight loss. A vet should also examine them if they show any signs of illness, remain active or attempt to bask.

During hibernation, it is normal for a tortoise to move slightly. However, if they urinate, they should be woken immediately, rehydrated, and overwintered in warm and bright conditions for the rest of the usual hibernation period. Similarly, if they defecate, they must be woken as this is a sign that they still have food in their digestive system.

When it is time to wake up your tortoise, this should be done slowly, as rushing this process can cause your tortoise to go into shock. Instead, they should be taken out of the fridge and placed into a non-heated vivarium or tortoise table in the evening. This allows a gradual increase in their body temperature overnight. In the morning they can have a bath and then be placed under their normal UV bulb and heating lamp the following evening.

A healthy tortoise can still take a few days to begin eating following hibernation; during this time, bathing daily can help with hydration. Feeding should not be rushed as most tortoise will start eating when fully warm and awake. If they are not eating after one week, please contact your vet.

If you have any information atall, please contact someone, the police, a neighbour, myself, even the smallest thing could be a lead to finding these pups, thankyou

An appeal is being made for public help to find four puppies which were taken from a farm in Gilmorton.

The Jack Russell puppies – three boys and a girl – are 10 weeks old and were taken sometime between 5pm and 8pm on Wednesday 11 November.

The puppies were being kept in a crate inside the property and it is believed that a person or people entered through the kitchen window and took them.

Their mother and one other puppy were left behind.

PC Julie Toone, the investigating officer, said: β€œI would like to speak to anyone who has information regarding this burglary.

β€œPlease look closely at the photograph provided. Do you recognise them? Have you seen them listed for sale – or have you been offered the opportunity to buy one?"

Hi Everyone

I hope you and all your fur babies are well and happyπŸ˜Šβ€πŸ’•
Please could I ask you for your help to support my small business by recommending and sharing K9 CAB Ambulance, Pet / Owner Taxi and Transportation Service.
So many people have been so supportive and are glad to have this service available for them and their animals. A lot of people dont realise this service exists and really struggle for transport, especially when their pets become unwell and most regular TAXI companies do not allow pets in their vehicles or have limited drivers that will accommodate animals due to pet hair, body fluids and smells.
Please help the word get round, not just for me but for people unable to drive , house bound, or may be vulnerable and need my support as part of the service.
Thankyou all so much for taking the time to read this post. Take care all β€πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•

Can I ask people who have used my services to leave me a review please.
I do not ask my customers from the Ambulance work to recommend me, due to the sensitive nature of the service I am providing for them and their beloved pet.
Anyone who could or would like to leave a reccomendation/review on K9 CAB Transport & Pet Services for whatever service I have provided for you, it would be much appreciated. Thankyou for your custom, Wishing you and your fur babies a Very Happy and Healthy New Year

Can dogs suffer from anaphylactic shock? Yes! Assess vital signs.....watch out for any breathing difficulties or obvious facial/airway swelling. If the dog has collapsed put the dog in the canine recovery position. CALL THE VET IMMEDIATELY this is a medical emergency.
Anaphylactic shock in dogs can also start with explosive gastric symptoms, like vomiting or diarrhoea! Same advice applies.

With temperatures set to rocket this week here are some ideas for keeping your furbabies busy when you can't take them for long walks.

Remember that mental stimulation can be even more tiring for dogs than a walk, so get creative! If you are going to walk them make sure you go early in the morning or late in the evening - but looks like even late evening this week might be TOO HOT..... Don't take any risks 🐾
