Winston 📢
Winston the Westie is the funniest little guy! He is soooo noisy when we leave the house! He wants everyone to know he is going for a walk.

When we’re out, he is silent and is pretty happy to do his online thing! Just goes off smelling things. He will occasionally play with the other pups but never too much.

He has been a great addition to the gang! He is such a great listener and always stays close by!

I’m still learning about Winston! From what I know so far, he loves his walks, loves to sniff and HATES his feet touched😅

What a fun week we had last week!! All the dogs were so fabulous! A few of them let the excitement get to them a bit too much. I felt with a couple of arguments… they all seem to happen in the same week!

Rufus 💨

Rufus the black Cockerpoo is the fastest you will ever meet. He out runs all his friends… gone in a 📸

Rufus is the sweetest boy you will meet. He is such an great listener and is so fun with all the other dogs! He gets along with them all so well. I would say he seems to get along with maverick the most. They spend majority of the walk chasing each other.

Loves 🥰 - treats, cuddles, walks, getting in the water, dogs, people

Hates ☠️ - the van!!!

It’s been a bit crazy these last couple of weeks over at Buddy’s Paws on tour! We have been making so many new friends!

It’s very easy to forget to reflect on how the business is going and how well you are doing, I know I’m very guilty of this but looking back across my photos and seeing all the new friends I have made it makes me so grateful ❤️

I love watching new friendships form between the dogs and learning about their little quirks. It truly is an amazing job. It definitely comes with its stresses but I always think about where I started and how much I wouldn’t change my job for the world. I was always meant to work with animals and I don’t ever see myself working without them.

One thing I will set myself to do is to take a bit more time to look at how well I’m doing. I couldn’t do this job without the support of my client and friends and family. You treat me so well and I’m honestly so grateful.

Halloween week!!
Hope you have all made some great memories this Halloween! There wasn’t too much spookiness going on with the dogs but they sure had a good time finding nasties to roll in/ jump in/ eat 🤢

Some new group buddies, and some dogs that just aren’t ready for crazy play just yet!
We have had only great walks this week. Some cheeky pups however I think they have a secret group chat as they are sooo good at taking it in turns at being cheeky… never any consistency 🤣

3 whole weeks worth of work! We have met a lot of new friends! Some of which myself and have shared out.

It’s been a great couple of weeks! I think for a lot of walkers, the 6 weeks are always a little worrying as there are more moved walks than usual. But we made it! And it meant that I had space for some adhocs along with new friends! There is always a positive behind every bit of worry.

I have met some wonderful new clients over the past couple of weeks who I’m so excited to start working with. It will be great to see new friendships forming with my new doggies!

Always so grateful for all my clients. New and current! Grateful for the patience of all of them in baring with me when things get a bit much and for them being understanding when things just aren’t quite working in my favour. You all play a part in making my days amazing!

Lastly!!!!! I HIT 2 YEARS!! I have been up and running for 2 whole years now! I started out with just 2 dogs, Peggy and Milo. Milo the grey frenchie who I see every week. I have learnt so much about myself, running and business and things that I would do differently if the situations arose again. Every day is a school day. The last 2 years have been the biggest lessons of my life.

Mochi - Aka Moch 🍡

Mochi is an Australian labradoodle - quite possibly the sweetest natured dog I’ve come across.🫶🏼 She could cuddle all day given the chance. Such a sweet girl!

I met Mochi when she was about a year old (possibly younger) and she was very crazy!🤪 As any puppy / young dog is. She took a while to calm down.
we also had to work on her recall as she was just absolutely crazy and struggled to keep focused.

One thing about Mochi is she will be sure to steal your heart. She is such a great addition to the gang. She always gets the dogs up and playing.

Loves 🥰 - Cuddles, playing, running

Hates ☠️ - (I’m actually not sure what she hates, maybe the rain??) 🤣

Soooo many newbies!! It’s been a crazy few weeks and as you know, I have gotten progressively worse at updating my social media pages! Unfortunately it’s a job that slips my mind 🙈

Here’s a catch up on the last couple of weeks! It’s been hard as I haven’t been able to do a great amount of walks due to weather and the school holidays.

I have been very busy with overnight stays.
I’m always so endlessly grateful to all my clients. Being self-employed can be a real struggle mentally and physically. Each of you have played apart in helping me get through some challenges.

Thank you all so much for being so patient with me 🧡 it never goes unnoticed

Reggie (the Cockerpoo) - AKA Reg 👑

What to say about Reggie… there’s almost too much 😅 I met Reggie about a year ago now. He was so placid and cuddly! I was warned that he likes to run up to other dogs but to my surprise, he was as good as good (when I took him on).

He was still a baby kind of - only 1.5 years old and I had no idea the teenage stage was to come, we are still in the teenage phase a little! 😜
Reggie is a nut case to say the least. He has such great fun when we’re out.

Reggie has ran up to and barked at horses (only once, he hadn’t ever seem them before but that is totally unacceptable and stupidly, I didn’t see them in time) 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️
He has snapped at a couple of dogs from time to time but gone a bit too far where I have felt it’s a little uncalled for 😬
He loses his hearing more often than not…😪
He also barks at things that he isn’t too sure about (usually children) 🙊

So as a result of Reggies crazy behaviour, he is unfortunately (for him) back on the training line and it has done wonders for Reggie. He is back to the dog I 1st met. ❤️
I can only imagine, the teenage stage is a super hard time for dogs, just like it is for us.

As much as Reggie gives me a heart attack from time to time, overall he is such a happy loving dog. He has formed some really close bonds with some of the gang. Life would be pretty boring if all the dogs were on their best behaviour all the time!

Teddy - AKA ted 🐻 (the Cockerpoo)

🧸Teddy has been part of my gang for about 6 months now and he has fit in perfectly. I was warned about Teddy’s bird chasing 🦅 and running over to other dogs but he has been as good as gold for me! He is so responsive to his recall.

To me, Teddy does look like he is away with the fairies 😅 he just plods along, occasionally wants to play with the other dogs but isn’t overly fussed.

Ted has got a slight attitude problem if he has found a stick or a ball or anything really. Once he has found whatever it is, it’s his and no one else can have it. So I do have to watch him as he can get a bit nasty to the other dogs… and the last thing we want is a fight over a silly twig.

The dog that Ted gets along with the most is would say, is Rufus. Rufus is the only dog I have seen Ted play with without getting snappy. He is a sensitive little thing ☹️

Loves 🥰 - food, having a run around, getting in a stream, rolling in anything that stinks (could be poo, could be a rotten rat), cuddle

Hates ☠️ - things being taken off him

Maisie, Elvis, the chickens - and prince (prince not part of the others) have been stars of the week! I have been looking after them while their families have been away!

The sad part is, they’re all missing someone 😢 Maisie and Elvis are missing sweet Dexter and prince is missing his brother, Earl. It’s been pretty sad looking after the pets knowing another should be here with them 😢

This week I have been in my WINTER COAT - what is that all about??? The end of May should be warm 🙃

Being the school holidays, I’m missing a couple of the regulars but that’s to be expected.
It seems to be a little busier for me in the school holidays. I’m just super lucky to have clients that need extra walks in the school breaks - I will never not be grateful for this ❤️

Pablo Aka - Pabs (was devil dog but teenage stage is passing slowly lol)

I have had Pablo in the gang since he was teeny tiny. I have watched him grow!
He is a Cockerpoo and mum was a working cocker spaniel so I can only imagine thats what makes Pablo an absolute nut case.
We have had our disagreements over the past year and a half🤣🤣 but he is calming down a lot and becoming a lot more easier to work with.

He sure is up there with one of the most handsome boys. Pablo is just a fashion statement in himself 💁‍♂️
I am so excited that next month, I shall be trialing him in the groups as I feel he has got to a point now where he can be introduced. 👏🏼🥳 Hopefully all will go well and Pablo can have some doggy friends.

I love the dog you’re becoming little man! He was the 1st puppy I took on so he has taught me so much!

Last night we said our final goodbyes to Skyla, our family cat 🥺
I have suffered pet loss before and it doesn’t get any easier. We lost a family member, it’s so painful but she’s in a much better place, without discomfort probably meowing away eating all the fish she cat ❤️

We picked Skyla and her sister, willow up from the cats protection league in January 2017. They were 10 months old! Skyla made the 1st appearance and I remember her using her paw to tap us (she would do this a lot for fuss and even more when she was hungry). We got our girls to fill the hole from the loss of Poppy and Sparky (our previous cats)

Skyla brought to much to this home. She was so vocal, super friendly and a little weird at times 🤣
She was only here with us for 7 years but I would do anything to have her for 7 years longer.

Thank you, Skyla for being our cat. We will miss you so much my sweet girl. I hope you’re in a better place. Love you lots, black cat 🖤😢🕊️🤍
