Our Mutt of the Month for October is the wonderful Jessie (2 sticks)! She’s getting on in years now, doesn’t hear much anymore, needs care getting into the van, and doesn’t actually carry about many sticks anymore! But she’s still loving coming out with the pack, zooms out the door when she sees me and still adores a muddy puddle! Congrats Jessie baby ❤️🐾

Our Mutt of the Month for September is the delightful Bear (2)! Started back with us again at the start of the month, and I literally can’t fault him. He plays with EVERYONE so beautifully, such a wonderful nature. Every walk is pure joy! Well done Bear, carry on being brilliant!!

Our first Mutt of the Year 2022-23 is the wonderful Romey! A lot of the time overshadowed by his imp of a brother, his wonderful nature and all round goodness goes unnoticed. He’s such a good boy out on walks, totally deserving to be my top dog for this year. We look forward to many more fun filled walks with our wonderful boy ❤️🐾

I didn’t think I’d see this ever happen, but here we are… Mutt of the Month for August, somehow, is Ted! He forgets his name often, goes on a sniff mission and disappears for 20 minutes at a time, humps all that cross his path, and shouts at me on the drive home until we get to his door and he gets the treat he knows is coming… But… I simply adore him. He’s My Ted, and I’d be lost without him. He’s been ok this month, better than normal so I’ve grabbed this opportunity to crown him now before he goes back to his normal self! Well done Ted my love, life would be boring without you ❤️🐾

Willow! So deserving of Julys Mutt of the Month! Since she lost her big brother Rocky, she’s still bounding out the back gate ready for walks, and is such a good girls once we’re out. Can mix her with anyone and her recall is spot on. She does get a little too excited when I arrive and run so fast into my legs I feel one day she may possibly snap my shins, but let’s hope not. Well done baby, see you tomorrow for more frolics. 🐾

Sadly, we lost one of our best a few weeks ago. Rocky has been with me since day 1, and I adored him like he was my own. As the picture shows, he’s been on the pin board in my kitchen for years! He was suffering, and is now out of any pain. I’m so grateful to his Mummy for, not only the 8 years I got to love him, but for being able to go and say goodbye before he left us. I sat by his side where he laid, clearly tired and in pain, and he managed to put his paw on my knee as if to show me that he knew why I was there. I’ll never forget the first time I saw him, he was in his mums arms, an 8 week old puppy, standing at the school gates. I’d never seen anything so cute in my whole life! I dropped to my knees in some kind of overwhelming emotion of love, and I loved him every day thereafter. We lost his brother only 10 months ago, so they’re now together causing mischief over the rainbow bridge. Seeya Rocky my darling one, thanks for all the fun 🐾💔

Welcome to our new little (actually quite large) angel, Balloo. Was amazing with my pack today, and passed the test when we bumped into Amanda’s. Can’t wait to have lots of adventures together!

He’s looking at it in total disbelief. Me? Mutt of the Month?! June’s MOTM was well earned by Hugo. Usually, he’s rolling in all sorts of disgusting ming, refusing to leave the park, telling off perfectly acceptable strangers who happen to be near us, and, I’m not going to sugar coat it, choosing Amanda over me every. Single. Time. If I was laying on the floor dying, he’d still step over me to get to her. I’ve accepted this, and still he’s my golden boy this month! NO poo rolling at all, home time has been a breeze, and we haven’t bumped into Amanda so all good there! Well done to our Hugo, keep it up boy!!

Basil… I don’t think I have another dog who gets so much out of our walks! He runs, rolls, chews, humps, swims, steals toys, carries sticks, eats whole pigeons, rolls in all/any/every poo, smiles, sniffs, plays, gets muddy, finds puddles, and everything else you can possibly fit into an hour. He keeps me on my toes, all 10 of them! But he’s a wonderful ginger baby and I adore him ❤️

Please welcome our new baby, Mylo! Such a sweet chap! Didn’t want to walk today so we’re playing football in his garden. We look forward to him joining in with the big boys come the autumn ❤️🐾

Mutt of the Month for May is….. The 2 Milos!!
I couldn’t pick between them this month, so I thought they could share. Milo 1 (white) HATES wearing a jumper, so all winter he hides from me whenever I come to collect him. Not this month! He’s been at the door every time, wagging his tail and it’s so wonderful to see!
And Milo 2 has come on leaps and bounds since he started with us. Such a good boy, excellent recall and plays well with others. Both boys are a pleasure to have in the pack, well done Milos! Love that they’re looking at each other in the photo, like saying to each other, we did it! (Really what they’re saying is if we sit here long enough she’s going to give us the biscuits in her hands 😂)

One of my beautiful babies passed over rainbow bridge today. I’m literally devastated for his Mummy as it came as a shock. Huds was one of my day ones, he was my baby too and I’m so sad for everyone who loved him, who he’s left behind. Sending so much love to you and extra special thoughts go out to my sweet Rocky, Hudson’s loving brother, who now has to travel through life without his little sidekick 💔

After 13 days off! My first walk back was with these crazies! I am gutted I missed my fav time of year, when they haybale the orchard and you can see them all lined up, it’s beautiful. BUT, we did find 1 lonely bale left behind! So we got the obligatory pic❤️

I believe, the most important thing about this dog walking lark, apart from all the safety aspects of course, is matching dogs with like minded souls. Chucking anyone together just because they live close together, not taking into account temperament, age, size etc is a massive no no for Amanda and I. These 3 are all spaniel, all looneys, they get on like a house on fire! It’s so important to us that the dogs get on, or the hour is just horrible for everyone involved!
