Walk of the Week! Definitely goes to these 4 angels this afternoon. Impeccable the whole hour, couldn’t have been prouder of the lot of them. Well done baz, Wilso, Nels and Dessie pug!

And a second well deserved shout out to these boots! Recent finds of mine thanks to other clever dog walkers, I finally have warm, comfortable and dry feet!! These are wellies lined in neoprene so just perfect for dog walking on miserable days. what did I do in the days before I found you??

Thinking today, I’ve got to give a mention to my dog jumpers! These things are a god send! I’ve a few of each size, and put them on the woofs whenever the weather is bad (like today). They are from and I couldn’t recommend them enough. I bought mine in 2018 and they’re still as waterproof and warm as the day I bought them! These and are the only winter coverings I’d recommend for the pups, nothing to rub their skin, no zips to get the fluff caught in and so easy to put on and off again, and underneath is a totally dry dog! What more do you need!!

I’m so late!! Buuuuuut, she’s worth it. Our Mutt of the Month for September is the delicious Nelly! She actually smiles at you, it’s the cutest thing. Such a precious baby, love our Wednesdays together! Well done sweet girl, love you ooodles!

WALK OF THE WEEK!! Walking these 5 angels this morning made me come up with a new weekly shout out! Exceptional behaviour from all 5 of these woofs, all knew their name, did as they were told and were just all round top dogs! So well done to Thursday mornings pack Bear, Wilma, Hugo, Yinny and Wilson ❤️🐾

So, our Mutt of the year 2023-24 is the wonderful Ralph! This was a no brainer for me, and was agreed on by Amanda. He fills our walks with sunshine, such a beautiful personality full of mischief and intelligence. He has an actual human smile, where sometimes his top lip catches, and I nearly die from the cuteness. Loves to explore, sometimes I can’t find him and spot him 500 meters away chasing birds having the time of his life. He is a gift, and I love him with my whole heart! Well done Ralph, our top dog this year, carry on being you ❤️🐾

No question who my Mutt of the Month is for August. Ask me. Say, Chloe, who is your Mu…Ozzy. You don’t even get to finish the sentence, it’s Ozzy. Only been with us a month, but feels like he’s been with us forever. Sweet, playful, cute as a button, I simply adore him. Well done Ozzy my wonderful boy, can’t wait for more fun!

Our Mutt of the Month for June, a few days late, is the precious Baloo! Loves coming out with us, always so excited to get in van… Great with the pack, loves a rumble. Well done angel, see you in the morning for more fun!

Well…. It’s taken quite a while to get here, and he hasn’t been 100% perfect this month, but I watched him the other day and thought, he’s got the soul of an angel and a beautiful face to match. Never has there been a dog to get more out of our hour together. Runs, jumps, swims, chomps, rolls MY GOD DOES HE LOVE TO ROLL IN POO, humps, plays, chews, eats dead pigeons, steals, carries impossibly large sticks, protects his pack, interacts beautifully with the others, travels well in the car (he does this thing where he leans his chops on the back window and I swear I’ll crash one day looking at him). He’s my ginger baby, and he’s out Mutt of the Month for May. Well done Basil ❤️🐾

Alice!! My other wonderful Bassett baby. Hasn’t gone missing in the bushes for 20 minutes for aaaaages! So that deserves some serious recognition! Congrats on being out Mutt of the Month for April sweet girl, well deserved ❤️🐾

Let’s start this leap year day right! After careful consideration, lots of thought and observation this week, our Mutt of the Month for February goes to the wonderful Bonnie!! She’s just perfection, every walk, and why she’s been overlooked for it till now I don’t know! Keep doing what you’re doing sweet girl, you’re a benchmark on what dogs should be!! She’s doesn’t look too happy here mind, I think it’s because it took about 7 years to get this photo, she’s not a poser!

A week with my wonderful pups ❤️🐾

How can we say goodbye to this?? Happy is our last passing over of the cuties due to the distance, and another lucky catch for @bubblesandcuddleswalking. He’s been the bestest sausage, totally lives up to his name! @davisdog_daycare_and_walking and I are going to miss little Happy so much ❤️

I believe, the most important thing about this dog walking lark, apart from all the safety aspects of course, is matching dogs with like minded souls. Chucking anyone together just because they live close together, not taking into account temperament, age, size etc is a massive no no for Amanda and I. These 3 are all spaniel, all looneys, they get on like a house on fire! It’s so important to us that the dogs get on, or the hour is just horrible for everyone involved!
