🐴 Please note we are running 2 arenas tomorrow with Open classes (last-minute qualifiers!) taking place in the International Indoor Arena & Championship classes taking place in the Legacy Outdoor Arena.

🥇 All Championship classes will require the Top 6 for Unmounted Prize Givings which will take place on the gravel outside the Show Reception.

🐎 Caroline Hutley Clinic on Tuesday 3rd September 2024 🐎

🦄 Caroline is a listed judge, trainer, Level 2 BD steward and rider who has competed to Grand Prix. She has a wealth of competitive experience and she has attended National Championships and High profile BD Shows wearing all of her various dressage hats!

🐴 Caroline welcomes riders training at any level and she will work with you to achieve your goals whether it be basic training or preparation for a major competition.

🎉 We are delighted to announce that the Bury Farm Paddocks Cafe has kindly sponsored the 50cm Championship class at the Unaffiliated Showjumping Championships taking place next weekend.

🎖 The Paddocks Cafe will be providing rosettes for 1st – 6th place for both the Horse and Pony section in the 50cm Championship class and special prizes to the top 3 in each section.

🍟 As well as having plenty of Cheesy Chips and Chicken Nuggets available, the Paddocks Café team have a lot of enthusiasm and a real passion for quality food which the team is taking full advantage of (a well-fed team is a happy team!).

🦄 Classes 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 & 11 are open to all as per a usual Unaffiliated Showjumping show. The top 6 in each section of these class will also qualify for the Championship class – these qualified riders will have spaces left for them when we do the drawn order for the Championship classes and can enter the Championship class on the day.

🐴 Classes 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 & 12 are only open to qualified riders. To qualify for the championship you need to be placed in the top 6 at ANY Bury Farm Unaffiliated Showjumping show from17th September 2023. 🏆 Unaffiliated Showjumping Championships, Sunday 1st September 2024 🏆

🎖 Stuart Reeve Young Competition! 🎖

🎫 All of the competitors who have entered the Showjumping Championship Show will be entered into a prize draw to win a training clinic with one of our local Showjumping Superstars, Stuart Reeve Young. Competitors will use their bridle number as their prize draw number. The winning number will be selected at the end of the show and the prize winner will be notified via email as well as being announced on our page.

🌟 The prize can be utilised at any of the Bury Farm Stuart Reeve Young Showjumping Clinics between September 2024 and September 2025. Instructions on how to book the session will be provided via email to the winner.

🤩 Stuart welcomes riders training at any level to build confidence and success in the show jumping arena. By utilising a wide range of fences and techniques he tailors his sessions to maximise the potential of any horse and rider combination.

🏆 Unaffiliated Dressage Championships, Saturday 31st August 2024 🏆

🎖 Daisy Coakley Competition! 🎖

🎫 All of the competitors who have entered the championship show will be entered into a prize draw to win a training clinic with one of our local dressage superstars, Daisy Coakley. Competitors will receive a raffle ticket with their test sheet. The winning ticket will be pulled from a hat at the end of the show and the prize winner will be notified via email.

🌟 The prize can be utilised at any of the Bury Farm Daisy Dressage Clinics between September 2024 and September 2025. Instructions on how to book the session will be provided via email to the winner.

🤩 Daisy Coakley is a dressage and event rider and trainer who has gained 8 National dressage titles and has been selected for the Excel training programme for talented squad riders. Daisy is a regular dressage competitor at the Centre competing up to Grand Prix. She has also been hugely supportive of our unaffiliated dressage championships by encouraging riders to achieve the most from their championship experience.

🦄 Daisy runs regular dressage clinics at the centre, welcoming riders training at any level and working with them to achieve their goals whether it be basic training or preparation for a major competition. Her next clinic is on Tuesday 24th September and will be held in our International Indoor arena.

🥳🎉 Bury Farm Unaffiliated Showjumping Championships on Sunday 1st September 2024 🎉🥳

😍 We are particularly grateful to thank Michelle Smith & Kimbolton Services for sponsoring the 60cm Championship class at the Unaffiliated Showjumping Championships.

🏆 The memorial cup for Tom Smith (Michelle’s Dad) was introduced around 13 years ago when a family friend , Valerie Barnes, kindly came up with the idea to use alongside competitions that Tom Smith used to sponsor. The challenge cup was passed to many winners at the annual Beds Area Show as Tom was always a keen supporter of local shows . When Tom passed away 14 years ago it was decided to keep the idea going and sponsor a class at a local event. Michelle’s mum, Brenda, has a brilliant livery yard called Worthy End Farm, with many of their liveries regularly attending Bury Farm Unaffiliated Shows. Michelle and her family therefore thought this would be fitting to sponsor the Horse section of the 60 cm Championship class.

🐎 Simon from Kimbolton Services is proud to sponsor the Pony section of the 90 cm class . His company deals with renovations and refurbishments of property old and new.

Dates – from Mon 29th July – Fri 16th August

Ivinghoe Parish Council have been made aware of these roadworks in Slapton that will have an effect on residents of Ivinghoe Aston.

++++ ROAD CLOSURE ++++
Horton Road in Slapton village (from the junction of Ivinghoe Aston Road up as far as the old Carpenters Arms).
Dates – from Mon 29th July – Fri 16th August inc. Closure will be in place all of the time. There have been yellow signs advising the closure in Slapton.
Residents of Ivinghoe Aston wishing to access Slapton village will need to follow the signed diversion which is likely to take you via the Leighton Buzzard bypass.
Ivinghoe Aston residents will only be able to turn left at the junction towards Horton and Cheddington.

Works being carried out by UK Power Networks.

Also as part of these works there will be temporary traffic lights at the end of Ivinghoe Aston Road in Slapton for the same duration.
