OATICAKES & CHRISTMAS......!

I know it's early but Oaticakes has to start early as there is only one of me and it's usually an absolutely crazy busy time.

Firstly, I missed my annual summer week off in July due to the website launch, so I will be taking a week off at the end of September instead. No orders will be posted out during that week.

Secondly, after that week off I will be starting Christmas Oaticakes and I anticipate this is all I will be making for all of October, November and into December.

This means whatever normal stock is left on the website once I take my September holiday is all there will be until I finish Christmas. So if you need to stock up to have enough Oaticakes to see you through to the new year, September is the month to do it.

You have been warned.... 😉🌲🎅🦌

I need to say a huge thank you to Black Nova Designs for creating such a fantastic website that does everything I wanted it to do and for putting up with all the edits I asked them to make over the weeks of development.

Why did I choose Black Nova Designs?
Firstly because they are animal lovers and I thought they would understand what crazy bunny mummy and daddies would be looking for in a pet treat website 🙂

Secondly, unlike using template websites they are real people that are easy to contact and offer support through the whole process and beyond. Not being at all tech savvy myself, knowing there is someone at the end of a phone if I have a problem is a great reassurance. I was also really pleased that the website came with free training.

Thirdly, they also host my website. Again unlike template website which have servers in the USA or Israel or some other exotic location. Black Nova own their own super fast UK servers. Not only that their servers are eco friendly, run on 100% sustainable energy. Plus a years hosting is included in the cost of the website. So I have no further website costs for the next year.

They offer lots of other IT services as well as website design so do please check them out if you need anything IT related

Great news here in the world of Oaticakes 🙂

Very soon I will have a brand new website. All the content is complete and has been sent to the web designer. I don't have a launch date yet but I'm hoping it will be the start of August.

Once the website is live I will be posting more regularly on this page to keep you up-to-date on stock.

TREAT A RABBIT RESCUE.....

Here at Oaticakes we have and always will support rabbit rescues and the improvement of rabbit welfare 🐇

So we are happy to launch our Treat a Rescue Scheme which will enable rabbits that are looking for a new home or need sanctuary care for the rest of their lives to share in the Oaticakes love.

Below is a list of rabbit rescues that are happy to receive Oaticakes to treat their rescue and sanctuary bunnies.

All you have to do is buy Oaticakes from me in the usual way but let me know which rescue you would like to send them to. All rescue boxes have free postage. You just need to pay for the Oaticakes (£4.50 per pack) and I will do the rest. I'll even add in a few extra treats if I can 🙂 Make the box as big or small as you like, everything will be gratefully received.

Please note that I must have the Oaticakes in stock for you to be able to buy them. So please check the Oaticakes availability list before ordering for a rescue.

TREAT A RESCUE

In the past I've done a number of rescue schemes and they have all pretty much ended in chaos, mainly because you are all so generous 😂

However as Oaticakes is always a strong supporter of rabbit rescue and rabbit welfare, having run our own sanctuary for over 10 years, let's try again.......

This time I'm going to keep it simple. I will list a number of rescues that you can buy Oaticakes for. Then you will buy them as you would for yourself from the list of available Oaticakes for one of those rescues. The difference is rescue boxes will all have free postage and if I have any extra forage bits available I will add to your box.

First things first I need to compile a list of rescues that Oaticakes will support. These rescues must vaccinate and neuter, re-home to Rwaf standard homes or larger and re-home in bonded pairs except in extreme circumstances. You must also know the postal address of the rescue and have their permission to add them to the Oaticakes list. No point sending Oaticakes to a rescue that won't use them 🙂
