Have we mentioned that we sell plants? 🤔

Probably at some point in the past but it's worth mentioning again as we've recently restocked with a huge variety of plants suitable for arid, temperate & tropical setups.
Live plants offer many benefits not just for your animal, but for the mini ecosystem that it inhabits, such as providing humidity, places to climb, hide and bask as well as allowing other natural behaviours to be exhibited. They also allow us keepers to create a little piece of the natural world in our homes to enjoy.
Our plants are suitable for many species of reptiles, amphibians & invertebrates (yes, tarantulas & scorpions aren't left out!). We also have many 'safe plants' which are edible and we can advise for specific species where needed. Species specific plant bundles are also available.

We also have a range of different mosses and leaf litter available for those keepers looking to add further detail and naturalistic touches.

Our gorgeous new arrival is now all settled in!
This species has been on the bucket list for a while now and certainly hasn't disappointed! Not only are Blue Tree Monitors absolutely stunning, but they are super active, making this guy the perfect addition to our wonderful new display setup.
The only challenge now is trying to actually do some work, rather than spend all day watching him 😂

Good morning!

We've received some new invert livestock this week and given the invert section a little spruce up. There's some very interesting critters here including Tarantulas, Mantis, Scorpions, predatory beetles & even a Centipede. Why not pop in over the weekend and take a look at these fascinating creatures.

We're open today until 4pm and tomorrow 9am to 4pm.

JOB VACANCY

Buzzard Reptile is an established business supplying livefood, equipment, décor and more to the reptile and bird markets, supplying zoos, shops and enthusiasts alike. With our increasing expansion, we are looking for a motivated, proactive person to join our team based in Leighton Buzzard.
The role will be split between packing of both livefood and dry goods orders, as well as preparation of substrates, seeing in of deliveries etc. It is imperative that candidates are comfortable working with insects. Workers also need to be adaptable & diligent in their approach and able to work on their own initiative. The work will be of a flexible nature and involve working as part of a team.
The candidate should be reasonably fit as some lifting and moving will be required. No previous experience is necessary, but a knowledge and experience of reptiles/invertebrates is advantageous.
Progression is available for the right candidates with additional responsibility and renumeration.
