MTB in and around Lennoxtown and the Campsie Fells Lennox Forest near Glasgow is to have its own official mountain bike trails and skills area/bike park.

Our charity, Rebound, is now working with the forestry commission and discussions have taken place regarding trails for all levels of riding. The forest is located just outside Lennoxtown near Glasgow and is easily accessible from most major transport routes. Centre facilities to include:

- fully developed and maintained skills area/bike park
- extensive trail network taking in the surrounding h

ills and landscape as well as the forest itself
- Modern and inviting visitor centre with car parking, cafe, bike wash and showers

Residents and visitors

What would you like to see in fegurson park and station road park?

We would love to see an asphalt style pumptrack where kids and big kids with any type of wheels (scooters, roller blades, bikes etc) could enjoy these spaces.

Nearly all kids and lots of adults have something with wheels, so please complete the online form and let EDC know what you would like to see, whether it's a green gym or pumptrack.

There's only ONE WEEK left to let us know your views on the plans to regenerate underutilised areas of two parks in Lennoxtown - Station Road Park and Ferguson Park.

EDC's Lennoxtown greenspace survey is now open and we would love to see a pumptrack in lennoxtown.

What would you like to see in lennoxtown?

We are hoping for an asphalt pumptrack that can be used by anyone with wheels and doesn't require maintenance, other than grass etc surrounding it.

East Dunbartonshire Council are holding an online consultation beginning on July 3rd. This is a great opportunity for people to comment with want they would like to see, for example, at Ferguson Park.

Our online petition has over 700 signatures advocating for a PumpTrack and it would be great if those that support the idea could complete the EDC consultation and mention the pumptrack within this.

Hi Everyone

We are looking to gauge interest in a Pumptrack somewhere in the village before applying for funding.

They are great for young children on small wheeled bikes and scooters, and a great way to build progression to skateparks and mountain biking.

RED MTB downhill sundays

R.E.D MTB Open Day:) We had a great morning. Thank you to all that came along. Membership form will be posted on our website shortly however if you would like to join the mountain bike club please pm us with your email address. Drone footage to follow shortly of the day :) Weekly club rides will be Tuesday's leaving Ferguson Park 6.30pm and Thursday's will be our meet at alternative venue (more info will be posted each week) .

Our Story

Our main steps towards this goal are to increase participation in mountain biking by running a mountain bike club and growing it by recruiting volunteers.

Building a pumptrack in the area will encourage participation in a healthy activity and lead to more mountain bikers and cyclists.

We will provide courses and outreach programs to reduce health inequalities.
