Rosie’s Pet Sitting Leominster

Rosie’s Pet Sitting Leominster Hi, I'm Rosie! I have spent the last five years travelling to various countries, working and volunteering for animal shelters and pet sitting. Rosie x

Rosie's Pet Sitting is a local furbaby-loving small business providing pet-sitting/house-sitting services in Leominster and the surrounding areas, also offering a dog-walking and Vet run service. Most recently in Greece, Turkey, Fiji and Italy. As a result, I am comfortable with dogs and cats of all temperaments and understand the nuances of caring for animals who have experienced trauma in their

little lives. I have extensive experience and knowledge in the following:
rescue dogs/cats
senior dogs/cats
animals with a history of trauma
Special Needs animal care
Oral medication administration

BPI insures me for pet sitting, dog walking and selling custom pet portraits. I hold a Fine Art diploma and enjoy combining my love of animals with creativity. I hold a clear and current DBS and have my pet first aid certificate. I am happy to send proof of all relevant documentation. All of us with pets worry and stress about their happiness when we have to leave them for any length of time. The benefit of having a pet sitter is knowing that although your pets miss you while you're away, they're still in the safety and comfort of their familiar home environment. During my sits, I send out regular photo/ video updates. This way, you can be in the loop the whole time! If you want to video call with your furry/feathery friends whilst you're away, I will always facilitate that too! If you or someone you know are interested in booking with me, I ask that I come to your home for a (free of charge) home visit; this way, I can meet with you and your furry friend/s to see if we are all a good match. If you make a booking, and we are approaching your sit date, I will need to return to your home for a quick visit. This way, you can take me through your pet's routine and show me where the pet food, collars, leads, toys and cleaning supplies are stored. If your pets are on any regular medication, we should time my visit with you administering it. I will also ask you to leave me with emergency contacts, your vet's details, plus an out-of-hours number. I will give quality time to your pets, giving lots of gentle love, tending to their needs and playing with their favourite toys. I'll take your dog/s on their favourite walk, encourage and sustain any training and provide lots and LOTS of cuddles! I'll ensure they have their favourite meals and fresh water, and for any indoor pets, I'll make sure their toilet area is clean and fresh throughout the day. For any enquiries or questions, or to contact me for small animal rates (bird, reptile, rodent and fish care), please don't hesitate to send me a message.

**FOUND!!**

**You are all so kind- 1,963 people saw my post, and that’s down to so many of you sharing- thank you so much.

Sapphire is back home with her sister (who also escaped but was found by a lovely builder very quickly), she’s covered in debris but unharmed!

I rescued her two years ago from a life of horrible breeding abuse, so to have lost her would have been far too much for my heart🤍

Thank you all again; what wonderful clients and a beautiful animal community to be a part of🐾🫶🏻**

Hi, lovely people of Leominster- my beautiful girl Sapphire has gone missing.

She’s snuck out a window on Orchard Lane (near Marches Vets), Leominster.

She is an indoor cat with an outdoor spirit and no street smarts.

Please, if you see her, call me on 07969045981

Marches vets know she’s missing, so if you find her and can physically pick her up, please take her to the vet.

She won’t attack you if you can grab her!

If you could please share this post too, I would appreciate it so much.

Thank you thank you🤍

I ummed and ahhed about writing this post but realised my hesitation was rooted in the stigma surrounding grieving the loss of a pet.

Our pets are considered part of our families, but there is still this overwhelming perception that their loss is not a valid reason to grieve.

The stigma that pet loss doesn't evoke true, unbearably deep grief is so untrue.

The grief associated with the death of a pet can become even more complicated when we decide to put them down.

My family and I faced this decision last week when we had to say goodbye to our beautiful childhood dog, Lola.

She's been with me through every death of a relative and every breakup, so it feels surreal not to have her fluffy paw to hold whilst I navigate her loss.

We all have/ have had a Lola- an angel in our lives, asking for nothing and providing unwavering love.

Whether it be a bunny, a dog, a cat, a guinea pig, a horse or a tortoise, the depth of love we feel for our pets is immeasurable.

No matter the circumstance that led to you losing your animal, don't let anyone devalue your loss; they were not 'just a pet', you are not silly or weak, and your feelings are not misplaced.

We will all, at some point, mourn the loss of our Lolas.

I'm so lucky that my job means I get to spend every day with many beautiful animals, so the transition to life without my girl has been a little more bearable.

If any of you have lost a pet and feel unsupported by the people closest to you, please don't hesitate to message me; I'm always here to lend an understanding ear.🤍

Love, Rosie xoxo

The Angel Baby of the week award goes to Jake🏆, a beautifully tempered mixed breed rescued by his dad from a shelter in Albania during the pandemic.

Jakeyboo (as I have spent the last few days calling him💗) has experienced so much mistreatment in his short little life but has an unwavering abundance of love to give.

It's easy to feel helpless in the battle against animal abandonment and mistreatment; hearing a story like Jakey's and seeing what a long way he has come and all the love he has to give brings small victories like his into focus.

Every animal deserves all the love in our hearts, and Jake has finally found the love he was missing🥰🥹🐾

Hi everyone! I hope you've all had a great start to your week and that your furry friends are happy and healthy!😊

I've spent the last six days walking with this gorgeous little boy Alfie; not only is he adorable and loving, but he also loves to climb onto literally anything he can and sit for photos (without being asked), and as a result, he gets this week's Angel Baby of the week award!🏆🐾

I have spent so much time giggling at this boy and his funny little facial expressions; Alfie's mum has taken on more hours at her work, so Alfie and I will be going on many more adventures together, and I cannot wait!

Please enjoy these photos of Alfie purposely sitting in various spots around the Herefordshire countryside; what a loveable little boy!😁

The Angel Baby of the week award goes to 9 y/o Scoop, aka ‘Scoopyboo’, a very loved solo house cat living in Ludlow.

Scoopy is the sweetest little girl with the cutest expressions, she’s very wary of everyone and riddled with anxiety, but her tiny heart is so full of love.

You can see her pictured here in her favourite spot, her cat balcony, built and secured by her cat dad, who is a woodworker☺️

Scoopy spends her time lazing in the sunshine, patiently sitting by her automatic food dispenser hours in advance and going on outdoor garden adventures with her cat mum.

Scoop’s mum & dad got a cat backpack carrier for Christmas so let’s see where her confidence building adventures take her in 2023!🥰🏆
