Hi I’m Cheryl and I help dog owners gain confidence in them selves and show them how to engage with their dogs to “create the perfect bond”
I pursued a 2 year college course in Animal Management that lead to me completing a Foundation Degree. After working for 7 years at an Equestrian Centre I decided it was time to work with my original passion, DOGS!
I gained fantastic experience with many different breeds of both dogs and cats by taking a job at a boarding kennels and cattery, then learnt even more at a local dog groomers and finally took the plunge in 2013 to combine all of my skills and years of hands on experience and started my own business, All About Animals began.
Finally I was in a position to have my own dog. I had the job of my dreams, not only could I spend time with my own dog but I would also get to meet so many others. My customers have met and love my dog Isla and comment on how calm and relaxed she is, this is testament to the training methods I use.
I believe you can never stop learning that is why I have continued to read hundreds of books, blogs and attended as many courses as possible.
My hard work has paid off and I’m proud to now be a Full accredited member of the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT), and a member of the Pet Professional Network (PPN) working within their ethics and keeping up to date with the latest research into force free training methods I am able to help even more dog owners just like you.
