GREAT NEWS - WE ARE OPEN !

Good Morning everyone from a very happy Fergus and I! Spring is in the air and we have amazing news from the British Isles Grooming Association.

Dog groomers are now able to carry out our usual grooms (from 29th March '21) on all dogs as long as we stick to the current COVID cleaning guidelines in the salon and we all keep wearing our masks..

Dear customers,
there has been a change in the guidelines set by The Pet Industry Federation which now specify that we can only groom dogs that are genuine welfare cases, that is either becausethe vet has recommended the dog is bathed or clipped for medical reasons or if the matting in the coat means that the dog is suffering. All regular or maintenance grooms should be delayed until we have further guidance or lockdown finishes. Please call the salon number and We will pick up messages and return your calls or message us via the page, then we can discuss your dog’s needs.

Happy New Year everybody

Hope you’re all safe and well during these challenging times, I’ve a couple of messages to share with you as we enter lockdown No 3!

Firstly, Presentable Pooches will be open through lockdown by appointments only, the COVID guidelines tell us to keep our front door locked and only the dog and their owner will be allowed in and out the salon at the agreed booking time.

Secondly I’d like to introduce you to Richard, my right hand man, dog groomer and Irish Terrier owner. Some of you will have met him last year and already experienced his great dog handling, clipping and hand stripping skills. Richard and I have been working together for quite a while now and I wanted to inform my customers that we work together as a team just in case you don’t see me around when you come in to the salon for your appointment.

Please stay safe everyone, abide by the COVID rules and if you have any queries at all please send us a message on Facebook or call the salon on 01273 512144.
