This little cutie is Barney 🤎

We saw Barney at our Lewes practice last week for his second vaccination and he enjoyed lots of cuddles with some of our team.

This is the beautiful Vinca who we saw back in December. 🖤🤍

During investigations in this interesting case we got an incredibly clear X-ray of a spring in her stomach!

Identification of potential foreign bodies relies on a combination of things however when it’s radiopaque, like this metal spring, the x-rays are very useful and great to look at!

Vinca has now fully recovered and has the spring back in her step 🐾

Look at Mars and Aero who were in just before Christmas for their vaccinations and microchips 🥹

They were just as sweet at their names might suggest 🍫🍫

Cat microchipping has been a legal requirement since June 2024, which is great news allowing us to more easily identify and reunite cats if they do decide to wander off! Give the practice a call if you’d like more information or to book in for your cat to be microchipped.

This majestic lady took it all in her stride and enjoyed all the attention and snacks from our team 💖

This is Sushi and Mochi who we saw back in December for their spays 💞

They are gorgeous girls who are full of character! Both were very brave whilst being with us for the day and appreciated each others company once they were both recovered 🥹

We always do everything we can to keep our inpatients happy during their visit so if you have any questions about the procedure when your pet has to stay with us please don’t hesitate to ask!

From Monday 6th January we will be making a charge for completion of Insurance Claim Forms. We have resisted this fee for many years but now due to the vet/nurse time and number we now have to complete it is necessary to make a charge.

For new claims the charge is £10, should it be necessary for us to complete a direct claim the charge will be £30. There will be no charge for continuation claims.

We ask that these fees are paid prior to us completing the paperwork. Thank you

This is Ripley the Newfoundland puppy 🐾 The photos are her when she was 10 days old, 8 weeks old and 13 weeks old 🥹

Our nurses are now seeing her for monthly puppy clubs.

The aim of our puppy and kitten clubs are to build confidence surrounding visiting the vets as well as weighing them and making sure flea and worm treatment is up to date. Our nurses are there to answer any questions you may have and love seeing them grow!
