What a blinder Sam ran earlier this week to finish 3rd. Take the winner away and we really think it could have been a different story. He traveled so well throughout the whole race and really put his best foot forward. Finger crossed we can keep building on this. Great result for all those in the syndicate. We have one runner at Brighton Racecourse this afternoon. Vision clear is running in the 3’0 clock race ridden by Michelle Bryant ! Vinnie ran well here 7 days ago just missing out on 3rd. Hopefully he’ll improve for the head gear back on. Good luck to all involved 🐴⭐️

We have one runner at Brighton Racecourse this evening in the 8:30. We are hoping the switch to grass might suit Vision Clear. He is ridden by Georgia Dobie who claims a use’s 3lbs. Good luck to all involved 🐴

We are off to Fontwell Park Racecourse this afternoon for the first race, which is the 6:10. The lovey Glorious Mist is having her third run for us this evening. She’s not put a foot wrong the last twice. She’s got a great attitude and gets on with the job well. Hopefully she’ll get another positive run under her belt and get her handicap mark after today.

She’s ridden by Luke Scott this evening, good luck to all involved. 🐴🤞🏼

Hope everyone has been enjoying the sunshine 🌞 how typically British, we are now crying for rain !!! Here’s some pictures from the last week of the horses enjoying some down time, we still have a handful in work, potentially one runner at fontwell on Friday.

Good morning everyone 🌞

We have two runners at Lingfield Park Resort this evening. First up we have Vision Clear in the 5:35 1m2 race. There are plenty of runners in this race so hopefully someone will set a good gallop and Vinnie can settle and stay on. We felt the 2 mile trip last time was a little too far, but this wasn’t helped as he just didn’t settle. He’s been feeling fab at home so fingers crossed he can run well.

Secondly we have Poppyequiano in the 7:40, 7f race. After a bit of a hairy first run, Poppy redeemed herself at Brighton 11 days ago. She’s grown more mature between each run and we were super happy with her efforts last time. The shorter trip here today should definitely help. She came out of the last race sound and full of beans which was great to see.

Both horses are ridden by Georgia Dobie this evening. Good luck to all involved 🐎

Happy Bank holiday ☀️🌿

Glorious Mist came out of the race well yesterday, she ran a lovely race jumped well and was staying on. She’s out in the field trotting around and feeling good about herself today ! Hopefully another run and then she’ll be handicapped.

Poppy redeemed herself this afternoon at Brighton Racecourse ! A much more professional performance, although she didn’t get the trip. She jumped and took the lead early. However Georgia Dobie was delighted with her and definitely thinks once handicapped, should have a good chance over a shorter distance.

Beautiful sunshine up the downs this morning 🌞Been a bit quite so apologies for not many updates ! A few horses have gone out to grass now, but the horses still in are feeling good, we hope to have one runner at Brighton on Tuesday. Martin was fine the other evening at Fontwell, but the ground was getting more firm by the hour.

We’d also like to wish Ruby all the best as she starts her new job this weekend with David Menuisier. Ruby has been a great member of the team.

Great to have Ben in this morning to, good to hear he’s settling in to Hannons well 🤩

We have two runners at Fontwell Park Racecourse this evening.

They both run in the second race which is the 5:45, maiden hurdle. Glorious mist is making her debut for us today. She seems a lovely game mare and today is about getting round and us learning abit more about her. Good luck to her owners she’s ridden by Luke Scott this evening.

Secondly, we have Engaging Sam. We need to put his last run behind us. Unfortunately everything got too much for Sam last time at plumpton. He didn’t like the big crowd or all the stuff happening in the middle of the racecourse last time. Let’s hope for a better run this evening. He is ridden by Caoilin Quinn, good luck to all involved.

We are off to Wolverhampton Racecourse this afternoon for the first race. Vision clear runs in the 1:50 race ridden by Miss M Bryant 🚀⭐️ the trip should be right up Vinnie’s street. He’s been in fab form at home and hopefully can go well here today. Good luck to all involved 🍀

Just a little update on El Hageb Rose. Tom got home safe and sound after a rather eventful journey to Chepstow yesterday. He ate up last night, seems happy about just a little sore.

He pulled up in the end, the ground was down as good to soft but was definitely on the quicker side. It was rough in places and Tom did pull up slightly lame. Such a shame as we really fancied he’s chances yesterday. Luke Scott was very positive about him and said he was a fabulous jumper. Just they set a good gallop and with the ground being faster then we through he could never get into it. Tom will now go on his summer holiday and hopefully the grass and down time will do him the world of good.

We have one runner at Chepstow this afternoon. El Hageb Rose is having his second run over fences for us. He runs in the 5:20 race and he is ridden by Luke Scott, claiming a useful 7lbs ! We are really hopeful that Tom can build on his efforts from last time. He came out of the Huntington race is brilliant form and has been doing everything well at home.

We have however had slight issue with the horse box this morning. It decided to break down part way to the races, however a lad from Gary Moores came to our rescue to pick up Tom and Paddy. They’ll hopefully be arriving at Chepstow shortly and Tom should have enough time to recover from the long journey! Good luck to all involved ⭐️

Oops 😅 cheeky Poppy. She definitely gave poor Georgia a run for her money yesterday. Apparently it’s not uncommon for Equianos to be quirky when it comes to the stalls. Thankfully Georgia stuck to her well. She was just exceedingly green and hopefully that run will have taught her something !! Positives were she made up lots of ground. She ate up last night and is sound this morning.

If she’d have jumped and gone forward we have no doubt she’d have finished mid div. Here’s some pictures of her In the paddock from one of our owners 🤩

Martin and Tom heading for their canters this morning. Two very lovely boys 🐴 Bit of a disappointing weekend at plumpton, but the two horses came back safe and sound which is the main thing. Albert is thankfully sound and was super unlucky to have been brought down. Sam was frustrating yesterday. The big crowd and lots going on got to him yesterday! He’s more then capable but he jumped like he’d never seen a hurdle, you can’t make mistakes like that and be competitive. Lots more schooling and a different track for him. When the penny drops he definitely has the potential to be a nice horse !

A rather damp morning, thankfully Albert is ok this morning. We are off to Plumpton Races again today for the first race the 2.23 hurdle race. Engaging Sam is having his second run over hurdles today. Despite what the racing post says we were really happy with Sam at Lingfield last time. He was a little keen but jumped well and galloped to the line. He is still learning and we hope he can run well and have another good educational run today. Sam is ridden by Caoilin Quinn this afternoon.

Striding into the weekend. Windy and wet this morning !! We thought it was spring 🙃🐎

We went to Lingfield Park Resort this morning with Vision Clear and Poppyequiano. This was the first time Poppy has ever been to a race course or away from her normal environment. She behaved impeccably and Vinnie showed her the ropes like a champ. We hope to find a race for poppy in the next few weeks.

We have one runner Plumpton Races this afternoon. Martin Spirit runs in the 4:45 hurdle race. This is the last race on the card. Hopefully things can go Martins way today and he can follow up or better the race at Leicester. He is ridden by Jamie Moore today. Good luck to all involved. A hold on to your hats kinda morning 🐎 we were due to have a runner at plumpton this afternoon but unfortunately Martin didn’t eat up last night which is very out of character for him. He’s not had much luck of late, the poor boy had a nasty tooth abscess over Christmas. This cleared up well and he has been in flying form at home. Never mind he’ll have his day. We hope to have one runner at Southwell tomorrow evening, I’ll update in the morning 🌟
