Clemmy has given the new straw beds her approval, now that it is starting to get colder all our horses have been given huge straw beds to keep them nice and cozy throughout the colder months

Due to finishing work with a couple of our lovely liveries and them going on to forever homes 🙌🏼 we have some availability (exciting!). We offer:-

🌟 Lami / EMS recovery Livery. (Our setup is perfect for these little chubbies that need some help).

We work closely with a fantastic local vet, have a wonderful, skilled farrier, and frequently have other professionals visit the yard, Equine Dentist, Bowen Therapy, Chiropractor, etc.

We have varied grazing, a smaller post, and rail paddock for EMS / Lami risk management. Larger paddocks with becks running through.

We have lovely airy stables and a round pen on site. With being in Middleham, we have access to amazing hacking for miles and miles and we often do arena hire at local venues, which we are so lucky with! Its great practice for loading and travelling, but also a lovely change of scenery for the horses. We are also often found at the beach...!

We have worked with many tricky horses, needing correctional education, problems loading etc, and have had great success. Lots of references available.

With the way our yard is setup we are in a great place to be able to help with weight loss and lami control. We had a pony come to us with blood readings showing he had EMS and Cushings, and with a good diet and exercise regime, 12 weeks later all his bloods came back clear. With his younger age on our side we were able to remedy everything that made him so unwell. We were his last chance saloon. The pony that arrived could hardly walk - now has started his ridden career and is loving life!

We completely understand how busy life gets, and with a pony that needs more care, it can become overwhelming. This is where we come in...! Send your horse to us, let us do the hard work, then they come home to you when they are less high maintenance 😉

Some recent pictures from our latest adventures

We’ve entered the showing world… a couple of our clients wanted their horses to go showing so off we went. We’ve competed at The Wensleydale Show, The Reeth Show, Arthington Show and at the end of the month we are going to Stokesly show!

We’ve managed to do quite well for ourselves brining home some trophies, however we never go for our benefit. A lot of the shows we went to were to give the horses a good experience and to make sure they are relaxed and calm and will be safe for when their owner wants to compete them. We could not be prouder of our little herd as they all absolutely smashed it!
