It is situated in the picturesque village of West Witton, which lies in the heart of Wensleydale within the beautiful surroundings of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Our aim at Wynbury is to provide a safe and peaceful environment set in tranquil surroundings enabling riders to enjoy their horses to the full. Wynbury Stables boasts fantastic onsite facilities that are second to none as well as superb local riding on and around the Yorkshire Moors.

After a little holiday break, it's nearly time to get our Silver Challenge Awards Training back up and running. We head straight out onto the ridden section with 'About the Rider'.

This is a BHS Stage 1 equivalent qualification and allows you to move onto BHS Stage 2.

We have spaces available on a Thursday evening, contact us if you'd like to join in.

There are fences from 50cm to 90cm with a complete water complex.

We've had a great weekend with the BE U18’s training camp. Now we have the SJ's up in the indoor arena for hire.
Just book the arena online as normal.

What a week! The team here at Wynbury Stables have been extremely busy. We now have an Irish bank to add to the XC course in the not too distant future.

The incredibly handsome Mojo making a different kind of use of our gallops here at Wynbury Stables.
He finds it a lovely drive out. Instead of pulling his cart up hill on the gallops with the drag of the surface on the wheels making it extremely tough, he goes up the track and comes down the gallops where the drag of the surface is more useful in assisting him with controlling the speed of the cart going down hill.
The views from the top are stunning and it is soo peaceful.

After a long couple of weeks maintenance work repairing and painting all the mobile XC fences I'm pleased to say they are up and ready for you all to enjoy.

Just book the arena as normal and come along.

XC course inspection today, we are still quite water logged in places so it will be a while before it opens up. As expected really, we dont usually open before May. But rest assured work is underway on maintenance already though.

In the meantime we have decided to set up the arena eventing course for hire indoors though. Watch this space for an update on the indoor XC course hire being up and ready to book.
