Gorgeous litter of 10 white and black.
Our dam maddison (Duchess Lucy) homebred from our kennels Thistlerun Gundogs.
Maddie is third generation in our kennels making the pups fourth, she's a lovely bidabel Labrador with beautiful manners in and out of the field. She works 100 plus days a season and is a machine when out doing her job. She handles very well under pressure and never stops trying to please. She's a valued member of my team and we're also extremely excited to be keeping a puppy back out of this planned litter to join our forever growing team.

Sire is a beautiful stud located not far from us. Being able to see this handsome hard working dog in the flesh and knowing his handler very well I was very happy to plan a mating between those two very hardworking bidabel athletic Labradors. Albie (Emmanygan Yorkie) is an up and coming young hardworking dog very bidabel with a fantastic hunting drive he's Definitely going to be one to keep an eye out for amazing dog in and out of the field.

Both parents have fantastic hip and elbow scores

Both parents are DNA tested clear so pups will be hereditary clear

PRA-pred, SD2, EIC,CNM,HNPK,MCD & STGD - clear
KC/BVA eye scheme - clear tested annually

All of our puppies leave KC registered microchipped, first vaccine wormed and flea treated.
You'll receive a puppy pack containing all the things you need to give you the best start and guidance from us. With weekly updates and guidance from us your puppy will settl in like they've always been there making those first few nights a breeze. You'll receive a free lesson valid until the age of 6 months along with guidance from us at any time needed until the age of 6 months. All puppies leave crate/house trained well socialised and ready for their next adventure.

Two years ago today we flew this gorgeous boy to Greece. We bought him from as a puppy trained him up and flew him out to our client and spent three days helping him and his family settle into their new life. Extremely grateful for this opportunity it was so lovely to be with him for the full journey until we handed him over.

Sorry we're late with our Monday training challenge, we've been busy grouse counting and I forgot to schedule it yesterday 🤣 as you can see Beau Beau is a little tired because we've been up since 4.30am. Steadiness/impulse training Four dummies out as close as you can get them without them moving. Collect all the four dummies and reward with a simple mark for a reward. Some over-ahead distractions for Beau beau. I asked Lilly to join us half way through as you can see she needs a little work! first time I've done this type of training with her bless her she's a keen bean. I'm not fussed about delivery with my own dogs, I've got some dogs who deliver fantastic and some that are not too great! But for me personally when we do 100+ days a season and I've got 8 working dogs bringing game back to me all at the same time I'm just happy they hold it and wait their turn for me to collect it! Beau is such an enthusiastic Labrador who even does zoomies after he's delivered game to me sometimes and I love that about him, he has this quirky personality that I don't want to take away from him. I don't like to put too much pressure on my dogs I just want them to enjoy whatever they're doing. We are a Working Gundog team and they do me proud every season ❤️💪

Cracking Monday challenge @tomcantwellgundogs @skeneparkgundogs Apart from not sitting longer than 5 seconds she did well 😅 but tbh I'm used to her now. I've owned her and her sister moose for about two years now and they've been a handful haha 😅 I got them off a keeper who was having a change of career and I've just learnt to love their quirkiness 😂 they sit like meerkats or not at all 🤣 there is a true saying and I still believe it (Labradors are born half trained) and a (spanner dies half trained) haha but I love them for what they are and they're both cracking workers with a cheeky personality 😍
