Today’s grooming post is delving into what happens behind the scenes…
Here we have Baxter who is an 8 year old shih tzu cross, who I have been grooming for over a year. He has never liked his legs or feet touched, however today he really wasn’t liking me doing them. The video shows a little bit of his behaviour and how I calm him down in order to complete his groom.
What the video doesn’t show that he had a 10 minute rest break as he was showing high levels of stress and would not let me touch his legs at all. After the break he settled back into the groom and I was able to complete his haircut 😊
