We are a livery yard and small riding club with an in-house veterinary physiotherapist and BHS Accredited coach, so plenty of chances for training

Due to a livery moving on as they want another horse ( we don’t have another stable) we are looking for:

A working livery pony between 12.2hh and 14hh to take over from our own pony.

We run a small riding club and offer lessons to outside clients. We are fully licenced by Lichfield Council and hold all relevant insurances

This would suit a family/person with a pony who they would like help with exercising. Pony wouldn’t be used on a Sunday

Pony would only do 3 lessons a week and they will be coached by a BHS Accredited Professional coach

We offer:

Excited to offer our next pole clinic at Vitalise Equestrian!

This clinic will be held on Saturday the 30th of March

This is a pole work clinic but with a difference! How would you like not only to have a pole work lesson but also learn about the theory behind how each exercise will benefit your horse from a physiotherapy/rehabilitation point of view?

This clinic will include a one-hour pole work lesson in groups of 3 maximum, with a BHS qualified instructor. During this session you will get to complete numerous different pole exercises that will benefit both you and your horse. The benefits of these exercises will also be explained by a MSc qualified and RAMP registered veterinary physiotherapist, giving you the understanding of which exercises work to improve specific aims such as joint flexion, stride length, coordination, and proprioception.

After the session you will also be sent a powerpoint presentation with the benefits of each exercise and how to set them up and progress them, so that you can practice them easily at home!

We will have groups to suit all abilities, from those of you who just want to walk and/or want to bring your horse in hand as part of their rehabilitation to more advanced groups where we can really challenge your pole work skills!

What this clinic includes:

🔵 One-hour pole work lesson with a BHS qualified instructor

🔵Indoor school hire with use of poles (Non-Liveries)

🔵The chance to try out at least four different pole exercises

Freelance Groom Opportunity

Vitalise Equestrian Livery have an opening for a freelance groom to cover Saturday and Sunday, bank holidays and customers holidays.

We are a 14 box yard that offer 5 day livery, our customers are looking for a groom to cover normal yard duties over the weekend.

This would vary week by week and can include turn outs, bring ins, haynets to full livery.

The position would suit a freelance groom who would like to add to their diary as you run your day and hours to suit, plus charge your own freelance prices and are responsible for your own invoices. There is the opportunity to also add on another yard at the same location.

FILLED…. Rare space for rehabilitation livery at Vitalise Equestrian

We currently have space for either a short or long term bespoke rehabilitation livery tailored for individual horses recovering post Injury or surgery.

This will include an initial sit down consultation and an assessment of your horse in order to make a bespoke rehabilitation plan.

This rehabilitation plan will include treatment composed of manual and electrotherapy’s and specific exercises depending on your horses stage of healing and recovery. We can carry out all aspects of rehabilitation such as in hand waking, long reining etc

Vitalise Equestrian Livery has numerous top class facilities to aid with this such as:

🔵Horse walker

🔵Solarium and wash bay

🔵Individual paddock turn out

🔵Indoor arena

🔵Outdoor arena

🔵Off road hacking

This rehabilitation service will be carried out by a level 7 qualified Veterinary Physiotherapist who will be continuously monitoring your horses progression.

All treatment plans will also be written in accordance with your veterinarians advice.

We can provide transport from equine hospitals in the area such as Pool House.

Well what a first six months it has been!

Our new business venture has really taken off and we now have a settled barn with fabulous liveries and horses. Our wonderful, thoughtful liveries treated all the grooms with vouchers and presented myself and Molly with a photo shoot each for us with our own horse for Christmas. To say we were touched was an understatement ☺️

We are loving taking care of the horses here at Vitalise and each horse is treated like our own and given the utmost care from our fabulous grooms Maddy,Milly and our freelance weekend groom Stacey.
