Here’s the secret: Pulling gets them nowhere. Calm walking gets rewards.

Start simple:
🔸 Stand still — reward attention
🔸 Move only when the lead is loose
🔸 Stop every time they pull
🔸 Practise little and often
🔸 Make YOU the most exciting thing on the walk

Most dogs need at least one walk a day, but ideally two — and the exact routine depends on your dog’s age, breed, and energy level.

🐕 Active or younger dogs? They’ll likely need more!
🐶 Older or less active dogs? Shorter, more frequent walks may be best.

As a general rule:

➡️ Aim for 30 minutes per walk
➡️ Adjust based on your dog’s specific needs

Hay fever (allergic rhinitis) in dogs is usually caused by pollen — but unlike us, they don’t just sneeze and sniffle.

Look out for:
🔹 Itchy skin
🔹 Scratching at the face, ears & paws
🔹 Redness on the belly or feet

If your dog’s more irritated than usual this season, pollen could be the culprit.
