Hoping everyone had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!! 🎄

I'm unfortunately starting the year with some sad news.
The time has come for me to hang up my wetsuit and close down the pool.
After 2 wonderful years (which originally was only meant to be 6 months!) I'm needed at our ever growing daycare more so have had to make this difficult decision.

I cannot thank everyone enough for your support, custom, conversation and most of all for letting me be a part of your dogs lives!

Those of you that have been with us from the start will know this isn't a final goodbye! We are always planning the next adventure, so the pool will be back! We can't say when, or even where at this point but you have to trust us, it will return 🥰

I will be busy working away at and if you want to pop in and say Hi! I would love to see you ❤️

Due to road closures through Whittington this week all appointments before 4pm will be CANCELLED.

We are very sorry for this and will keep you updated with any changes as the week goes on.

We will aim to rebook all appointments asap.

📢 Appointment availability! 📢

Due to an increase in demand, we are no longer able to take on any new rehabilitation cases. Due to lack of appointments we would not be able to offer consistent appointments which are necessary for dogs undergoing therapy.

We are able to take on fun/fitness swims, swimming lessons and confidence building but please be aware we do not have any evening availability until the beginning of September.

Towards the end of the year we will be reducing our hours which will make booking appointments even harder, so if you have been wanting to bring your dog swimming for a while but not got around to it yet, we recommend messaging us to book in for later this year as we may not have any available appointments soon!

We are really pleased to be this busy but hate having to turn people away and disappoint people. We will do everything we can to fit your dog in but sadly this may mean a longer wait than usual!

About us

Lichfield Canine Hydrotherapy Centre was founded in 2016 by two sisters, Abbie and Gemma Holmes. Both are level 3 qualified canine hydrotherapists, and have a passion for rehabilitation and general overall health of dogs. The aim of the centre is to make hydrotherapy fun and exciting as well as being in a controlled and relaxed environment.

Hydrotherapy can benefit any dog, from young puppies learning how to swim, to old age pets who might be struggling from arthritis, or just slowing down a little and struggling on walks. However, it is never too late to learn how to swim, and any dog can suffer from joint problems, arthritis or injure themselves. Hydrotherapy really is for any dog!

At Lichfield Hydrotherapy Centre we are qualified and experienced in dealing with a wide range of joint issues, degenerative diseases and injuries. We also specialise in teaching dogs how to swim, building confidence in the water and helping to increase the fitness of working and agility dogs.
