Built by a Giant or forged by ancient volcanoes? Take a trip to the Giant’s Causeway in Northern Ireland and you’ll hear two fascinating tales. 🌅

According to Irish legend, Finn McCool, a mighty giant, built the pathway to challenge his rival. But when he saw the sheer size of his opponent, Finn quickly retreated, leaving behind the iconic stone formations.

Science tells a different story: these basalt columns were formed around 60 million years ago by intense volcanic activity, as lava cooled and cracked into the dramatic shapes we see today.

Whichever story you believe, there’s no denying it’s a must-see—especially at sunset!

Mussenden Temple is a stunning circular building perched on a cliff edge near Castlerock in County Londonderry, Northern Ireland.

It was built in 1785 by Frederick Hervey, the 4th Earl of Bristol and Bishop of Derry, as a library. The design was inspired by the Temple of Vesta in Italy.The temple is part of the Downhill Demesne, a once-grand estate that also includes the ruins of Downhill House. The location offers breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and Downhill Beach, making it one of the most photographed landmarks in Northern Ireland.

When you’re passionate about where we live and what we do, it’s easy to share that enthusiasm with others! So today at the CIC in Belfast we did just that 🥰

A huge thank you to Tourism Northern Ireland & UK Inbound for an amazing Discover Northern Ireland workshop today. We had the chance to introduce our unique equestrian & farm experiences to a fantastic group of inbound tour operators—some familiar faces and many new ones!

We also shared exciting updates on our new non-ridden experiences launching this year—an immersive and eclectic mix of farm life, stables, wellness, history, and culture. Quite the mouthful, I know 🤣 but at Crindle, you should always expect the unexpected!

It was lovely meeting up with familiar faces and meeting so many new partners, and we can’t wait to work together to help your guests explore our beautiful wee corner of the country.

“Beyond the Bridge” up on the north west coast in “Upper Ireland”, we were at a tourism event today and I called the North of Ireland “Upper Ireland” they thought it was a great name! I had to give the credits to Siobhan from Adam’s & Butler.

Loving the “black sheep” and her babies ❤️

Yesterday they had to move out to the field. Of course I wanted them to stay but as Farmer Trev said if I want them to stay inside they could possibly get joint ill disease and die ! They need to get out to face their reality, to grown and get stronger in the harsh reality of life.

BUT he agreed they will not be sold and when we get fencing done here at the farm they can come back so … yip that’s ok.

Sometimes what we want is not necessarily the best thing for us. I suppose that’s also true in life. We have to push ourselves out of our comfort zone to allow ourselves to grow and flourish.

Goodnight from the beautiful North 😜❤️

Has anyone heard of the Black north !! Yip ok we will explore that another night.

🐑 Lambing Season Update: The Final Stretch!One more week, and we should have the maternity ward under control… but let’s just say the farmers are running on fumes (and maybe a little grumpy 🙈).
