🌿 **Green Fields of Ireland** 🌿
Join us on a heartwarming journey as our new mummies and their wee baby lambs get out into the lush green fields of Ireland! 🐑💚
We start in the “maternity ward,” where our ewes give birth, followed by a cozy “side ward” to ensure both mum and lamb are doing well. Once they’re all happy and healthy, it’s off to the “main ward” for a few days of monitoring. If the weather is chilly or wet, they might enjoy a little extra time indoors.
Finally, it’s time for the big adventure! Out to the fields they go, where they’ll be checked and fed daily, soaking up the beautiful surroundings of the North West coast along the Causeway Coastal Route.

Rain and winds are howling but please god it passes with out doing too much damage to our wee country. All the animals are in safe and cosy!! Bear and Luna my wee friends are definitely staying in the house tonight !! Goodnight everyone and good bless, let’s hope it’s won’t be as bad as they think !! Our schools are all off tomorrow, shops are closed everyone advised to work from home if they can and services scaled back to keep staff safe !! 🌟 What a Beautiful January Day in Northern Ireland! 🌟
When people ask us, “When’s the best time to visit Ireland?” the truth is… there’s no right or wrong answer! You’ll most likely encounter some rain (this is Ireland after all!), but days like today—bright, crisp, and absolutely stunning—are pure magic. And if it’s a misty, moody day? Well, that’s part of the charm too!
Today, our lovely guests Robbie & Chiara. experienced our signature “Saddle Up by the Sea” experience, and what an unforgettable day it was! Here’s what it looked like:
🐴 Meeting our four-legged friends on the farm (an active working style & sheep & equestrian farm full of character and charm).
🏇 Hands-on time with the horses, saddling up, and brushing up on riding skills for Chiara and giving Robbie the basics as it was his first time ever on a horse! before hitting the countryside trails on the farm.
🌊 A scenic drive to the breathtaking Benone Beach, where you’ll ride along the golden sands from Benone to Downhill Beach. Imagine the dramatic sweep of the cliffs of Binevenagh Mountain on one side and the wild Atlantic Ocean on the other—it doesn’t get more magical than that!
✨☕️ Back to the cosy countryside farmhouse for a well-earned afternoon tea, complete with freshly baked scones, locally produced jams, and treats so scrumptious some have said they rival even Ashford Castle’s offerings! (We’re blushing just thinking about it!)
