This handsome chap has been handed in by a delivery company after being found in their van, unsure how long he’s been missing as the van isn’t often used and has done a recent trip to Belfast so he could be from that direction.
*we’ve had a report her may be from Boucher Road, Belfast

Neutered male, snip on right ear with four white paws. No microchip.

Are you looking to travel abroad with your pet this summer? If you are, you will be required to obtain an Animal Health Certificate (AHC) for them.

An AHC needs to be issued by an Official Veterinarian (OV).
Check with your veterinary practice to see if they have a qualified OV because not every practice will have one.

The month of May is officially National Smile Month, which we consider to be the perfect time to share joy and positivity and show off those pearly whites. In the spirit of Veterinary Nurse Awareness Month, get to know some of our amazing veterinary nurses in practice!

Katie, Erin and Matthew work alongside the vet team to ensure your pets receive the best care through years of studying, training and continued professional development throughout their careers. Veterinary nurses train on an average of 2-4 years at college or university, where they must undertake in practice placements.

🐱 Katie is our Cat Queen, studied at Letterkenny and works hard to promote the best feline welfare in our clinic and help us maintain our Gold Standard Cat Friendly certificate. She also aims to undertake a further feline veterinary nursing certificate later in the year to further her knowledge and skills. In her spare time, Katie enjoys the gym, painting and spending time with her adorable Kitties, Merlot and Moira Rose!

🐴 Erin undertook her studies at Middlesex and alongside her veterinary nursing, runs our hydrotherapy centre and is our social media mogul. Having also undertaken various certificates, she enjoys partaking in Schedule 3 surgeries and running our weight clinics. In her spare time, you'll always find Erin with a good book, running around after her new puppy Ruhn or out finding a new coffee place to test!

🐶 Matthew took on his studies at Greenmount and is our go to "fix it" guy around the practice, if Matthew can't fix it then its well and truly broke! Matthew has taken a big interest in Emergency Critical Care and is on route to further his knowledge on this front while also being our radiation supervisor for x-rays. In his spare time, you can find Matthew tinkering with his cars, hanging out with his three pooches or gaming the night away!

We're so grateful for everything our nurses do in practice 🥰

Join little Ruhn at All Creatures to get his final vaccines! 💉 🐾

Puppy vaccines are important to protect our little friends from viruses and illnesses such as Parvo, Distemper, Canine Hepatitis and Leptospirosis - some of which can be fatal if not caught quickly!

Ruhn is now follow protected for his walks and will be back soon for his kennel cough to protect him even further ♥️
