🐾FOUND 🐾

This handsome chap has been handed in by a delivery company after being found in their van, unsure how long he’s been missing as the van isn’t often used and has done a recent trip to Belfast so he could be from that direction.
*we’ve had a report her may be from Boucher Road, Belfast

Neutered male, snip on right ear with four white paws. No microchip.

Please share to help reunite this wee man with his family! 🫶🏻

Our pets are part of the family and we want to share fun experiences with them – including taking them on holiday!
While this often results in great fun and wonderful memories, there are a few things to consider first. A bit of planning beforehand goes a long way towards making it a positive experience for everyone.

🌈 RIP - Please share to find owners 🌈

Sadly we have had a wee ginger female cat brought in that has been hit and passed away on the Coleraine mountain road. She was pregnant and not chipped.

White paws on front left and back left and a white half band of fur around the front of her neck.

Are you looking to travel abroad with your pet this summer? If you are, you will be required to obtain an Animal Health Certificate (AHC) for them.

An AHC needs to be issued by an Official Veterinarian (OV).
Check with your veterinary practice to see if they have a qualified OV because not every practice will have one.

The month of May is officially National Smile Month, which we consider to be the perfect time to share joy and positivity and show off those pearly whites. Keeping teeth in tip-top condition is not just important for humans, but for pets too, and that’s why our trained vets and nurses offer full dental checks at our practices 🦷🐶

We recommend pets have regular dental check ups to prevent diseases that can otherwise be difficult to detect at home.

In the spirit of Veterinary Nurse Awareness Month, get to know some of our amazing veterinary nurses in practice!

Katie, Erin and Matthew work alongside the vet team to ensure your pets receive the best care through years of studying, training and continued professional development throughout their careers. Veterinary nurses train on an average of 2-4 years at college or university, where they must undertake in practice placements.

🐱 Katie is our Cat Queen, studied at Letterkenny and works hard to promote the best feline welfare in our clinic and help us maintain our Gold Standard Cat Friendly certificate. She also aims to undertake a further feline veterinary nursing certificate later in the year to further her knowledge and skills. In her spare time, Katie enjoys the gym, painting and spending time with her adorable Kitties, Merlot and Moira Rose!

🐴 Erin undertook her studies at Middlesex and alongside her veterinary nursing, runs our hydrotherapy centre and is our social media mogul. Having also undertaken various certificates, she enjoys partaking in Schedule 3 surgeries and running our weight clinics. In her spare time, you'll always find Erin with a good book, running around after her new puppy Ruhn or out finding a new coffee place to test!

🐶 Matthew took on his studies at Greenmount and is our go to "fix it" guy around the practice, if Matthew can't fix it then its well and truly broke! Matthew has taken a big interest in Emergency Critical Care and is on route to further his knowledge on this front while also being our radiation supervisor for x-rays. In his spare time, you can find Matthew tinkering with his cars, hanging out with his three pooches or gaming the night away!

We're so grateful for everything our nurses do in practice 🥰

The month of May marks the start of National Walking Month. Why not take advantage of the lighter evenings by going for a gentle stroll with your dog?
You do not have to pound the pavements to reap the benefits: just 30 minutes of walking a day is enough to increase cardiovascular fitness, strengthen bones and boost your mental health ☺️

Lets see your pets out on their fave walks!

May marks Veterinary Nurse Awareness month - and this month, we are championing the incredible nurses in the veterinary profession worldwide! A huge thank you for everything you do for the nations pets 🥰

If you spy this handsome chap wandering our grounds, fear not! We’ve not lost a patient 😅
This is John our practice cat wearing his “anti escape” cone, he loves an explore outside and will often stop to greet those walking down the Edenmore road at our fence line.
Please don’t worry (and no treats please!), he’s never too far from watchful eyes ♥️

Join little Ruhn at All Creatures to get his final vaccines! 💉 🐾

Puppy vaccines are important to protect our little friends from viruses and illnesses such as Parvo, Distemper, Canine Hepatitis and Leptospirosis - some of which can be fatal if not caught quickly!

Ruhn is now follow protected for his walks and will be back soon for his kennel cough to protect him even further ♥️

Our Story

Established in 2003, All Creatures, state of the art veterinary clinic in Limavady caters for all your pet's veterinary needs and offers first opinion and referral veterinary services, hydrotherapy, licensed boarding facilities and quality pet supplies. The clinic recently moved from the Greystone Road to purpose built hospital-style premises on the Edenmore Road in 2013. The landmark building is Ireland's greenest veterinary clinic, powered by solar and heated by air source heat pumps, and is equipped to provide a quality of care that ranks it among the top veterinary clinics in Ireland. The All Creatures team has designed its premises to ensure that your pet's time with us is as comfortable as possible. At All Creatures, we understand that pets are family and we are dedicated to providing a high quality service and compassionate health care for you and your pet. With an ethos of thoroughness, friendliness and value for money, our reputation has attracted customers from all over Northern Ireland. Our veterinary team, all animal owners and lovers themselves, will treat your pet as they would their own.

All Creatures provides the full package of rehabilitation care by means of a large heated hydrotherapy pool, hastening the recovery times of orthopaedic cases, and improving arthritis and other musculoskeletal and neurological problems. Swimming at our pool is a great way for a heavier pet to shed some calories in conjunction with one of our effective slimming diets or to simply burn off some extra energy of a lively pooch - ask about our fun swim and bath combo! Or if your pooch doesn't like the water, we can encourage a speedy recovery using a class IV therapeutic laser. All Creatures clinic has extensive medical, surgical and hospital facilities - we are always happy to let our customers see behind the scenes and tour our premises. We have a complete in house laboratory with blood, urine and skin testing, digital x-rays and ultrasound scanning. Our kennels are large and spacious with glass fronts and underfloor heating. All patients and boarders are exercised within a spacious secure well maintained grassed area. We cater for all budgets but encourage pet owners to consider pet health insurance against accident and illness. For extra discounts on preventative care such as vaccines, worming and flea treatments, we recommend that you join the All Creature's Healthy Pet's Club. All Creatures provides subsidized dog neutering from £50 (Dog's Trust) and cat neutering from £7 (Cat's Protection League).

Examinations with the vet are all by appointment and we will always try to accommodate you in the event of an emergency. We provide an out of hours service and after 6.45 pm and on Sunday the emergency vet can be contacted on 07763 882088.
