Happy Saturday all!!

For those of you that aren’t aware, I’m currently on holiday in Wales celebrating my dads 50th,

I will respond to all messages, enquiries and requests when I return to work on Wednesday, but for now I’m taking a well needed break 😴

As the weather warms up, we want to take a moment to remind you of our policy regarding walking dogs in heat. At K9 Carers we prioritize the health and safety of all our furry friends, and part of that commitment involves ensuring their well-being during walks, especially in warmer temperatures.

Effective immediately, please note that we will not be walking dogs when the temperature exceeds 21°C. This policy is in place to prevent any discomfort or potential health risks to your beloved pets, particularly those prone to heat sensitivity.

All scheduled walks during warm weather will be automatically swapped to house visits, unless otherwise specified by you. This adjustment ensures that your pet still receives the attention and care they deserve while minimizing any risks associated with outdoor activity in high temperatures.

We kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation in adhering to this policy. While we understand the importance of regular exercise for dogs, their safety is our utmost priority.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding this policy, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. We appreciate your continued trust in K9 Carers and look forward to providing excellent care for your furry companions.

I am heartbroken to let everyone know we lost a member of the pack last week 💔

Blake was one of the OG members of my pack, I inherited him off a fellow dog walker that had a new exciting job opportunity,

Blake was truly one of the best, he was such a sweet old boy, but he had a cheeky puppy like side to him that just made me fall in love with him straight away

On our adventures together Blake chased many….many animals, never quite managing to catch up at the grand old age of 13 but he always gave it his best shot 🤭 he really did live his best life right up until the very end, and I am so grateful to his lovely owners who let me be apart of that, he will be sorely missed by all of us💔

Good morning everyone!

Not a great start to the morning I’m afraid.

On my way to work this morning I was travelling through sudbrooke, on the side of the road was a dog with its owner walking off leash. The owner was that invested in her phone the dog crossed the road right infront of my van as I was going approximately 40mph. Luckily as I had been watching this dog as I approached I had enough time to emergency brake and no accidents occurred.

The owner however was completely unphased by this and continued on her merry way still glued to her phone.

Naturally as a dog lover and being quite frankly shaken up by the fact I had almost just killed a dog, I got out of the van and colourfully told the owner to get the dog on a lead.

She then proceeded to argue with me, a lot of colourful words came out of my mouth this morning I am not ashamed of it. This could have been so so so much worse, for the dog, me, the van and my own dog who was riding with me.

She has taken photos of the van so if you see anything in relation please know that the above is the actual story.

I am disgusted with the lack of responsibility I have seen this morning, thank you to all my customers that walk their dogs with care and attention.

I have no calmed down a little bit after a cuddle with these 3 munchkins 🥰👇🏼 Happy Tuesday 🤦🏼‍♀️

Happy Sunday everyone!!

I’ve bought a van 😆 It is currently unmarked so please don’t be alarmed if there is a small white van parked outside your houses, it’s just me 🥰

I will be getting advertisement sorted for it in the upcoming weeks and hopefully have my private reg back 🤞🏼watch this space for an upcoming van tour🚚

I will be actively adding these £5 fees every Saturday. Should you pay Saturday morning, before the fee is added, it will be added to the following week’s invoice.

A day in the life🐾

What a hectic day, back to back walks, new faces, friendships being formed, sun shining, what more could you want?🥰 Spaces available Monday - Friday🐾

✨ 2023 Round Up! ✨ And what a year it has been! 🤯 this time last year I would not in 1 million years have thought I’d be where I am now, Thank you from the bottom of my heart to each and every one of you that have used K-9 Carers to look after their pups this year, I’m beyond grateful to have such a lovely client base.❤️ There will be a couple of changes early on in the new year so keep your eyes peeled for any announcements 👁️👁️ I’ll see all your lovely doggies again from Tuesday (2nd) onwards 🦮🐕‍🦺❤️ Happy New Year everyone 🎉🥰

Last week we visited our girl Shadow.🥰 Shadow is a rescue and her mum has been struggling with loose lead walking and constantly being pulled down the road. 30 minutes into our session Shadow’s vicinity has improved tenfold and we are one step closer to her Mum being able to walk Shadow instead of Shadow walking her 🙈
