A Walk in the Park with Rachel assists with all pet care, offering dog walks and home visits. Hi👋 I am Rachel, the founder of A Walk in the Park with Rachel.

I have taken the plunge and gone self-employed with something that I enjoy more than anything, dogs! I have a huge passion in helping animals as well as lots of experience in caring for animals as I work as a kennel assistant in a vet practice. I am currently working towards completing a level 2 qualification in Animal Care and Welfare. I am fully insured and DBS checked.

It was great to see how excited they were to see me again too! We’ve had some brilliant walks this week, it’s been a cold one but we’ve had a great time!

I will be having some time off over the Christmas holidays! My last day of work will be the Monday 23rd and I will be returning to work on the 2nd January ☺️🎄

Everyone meet the hansome, Cooper 😍

I’ve been visiting Cooper for a few weeks now, he is a nervous and anxious boy so I have been working closely with his owners to build up his trust! Yesterday, we managed to do an hours walk, just me and Cooper!!😁 He is doing so well and has become so used to seeing me! When I first met him, he wouldn’t even come near me and it would really upset him, but now he greets me at the door with his toys🥰 Well done Cooper! I can’t wait to carry on this journey with you!! 💙
