Everyone meet the hansome, Cooper 😍

I’ve been visiting Cooper for a few weeks now, he is a nervous and anxious boy so I have been working closely with his owners to build up his trust! Yesterday, we managed to do an hours walk, just me and Cooper!!😁 He is doing so well and has become so used to seeing me! When I first met him, he wouldn’t even come near me and it would really upset him, but now he greets me at the door with his toys🥰 Well done Cooper! I can’t wait to carry on this journey with you!! 💙

It goes without saying there will be no walks today! Please remember this is only for the safety of your dogs ❤️ So lots of fuss and play time in the garden where there’s shade and water available!!

Please note, this is not ‘lazy’, this is to protect your dogs against heat stroke!! Us dog walkers have a plenty of cancellations on these hot days, we don’t like to cancel walks because we have to pay our bills with that money, but your dogs safety has to come first 🥰 Thank you for understanding x

I’ve been doing more group walks this week as well which has been great for the dogs to socialise and run round together!

A very warm week so far!! I have been doing a lot of visits rather than walks, except for early morning walks before it gets too hot🥵

Thank you to everyone that has been super understanding with me doing visits instead this week. I hate not getting to walk the dogs as usual but I have to keep the pooches safe ❤️ Hopefully we will get back to regular walks soon! Not that I’m wishing the summer away or anything… 🤪😁

I have had such an incredible experience walking 26.2 miles for Macmillan in the Peak District!! I am forever grateful to everyone who has donated to support me and this fantastic charity, I couldn’t have done it without all of your support 💚 Thank you so so much!!! 💚 20 Days to go! 💚

I am hiking 26 miles (yes, more walking on my day off!) in the Peak District, to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support!

Please donate anything you can to show your support, every little bit makes a difference and will go towards helping someone living with cancer.

In February, my Grandma sadly passed away due to a brain tumour, we were so lucky to have Macmillan to help with her care right until the end. So I am walking to make my Gma proud, and to raise money so Macmillan can continue the great care they provide.

It was a hot one meaning some were visits instead of walks, so lots of treats and playing at home for a few pooches! And some walks towards the end of the week once it was cooler!

Have you got enrichment toys for your pups? They are perfect to keep their minds active whilst it’s too hot to walk outside! Please leave them out for me so I can fill them with treats for your pups to enjoy 🥰

This week is a hot one!☀️ A really useful post for you all to read!

As all of my clients know, I will not be walking any dogs in this weather and it’ll be visits and playing in the garden with lots of fresh water and perhaps a frozen kong 😁

Everyone meet Chugs 😍🥰

One of my smallest pooches! I was looking after Chugs overnight whilst her pawrents were away. She is the cutest little girl, with a lovely nature and personality!! We were cuddled on the bed together overnight and she was in the tightest ball🥰😍🐾

I have had a few walks with Daisy now and I honestly love getting to spend time with her, she is such a character! Whenever I go into her, she greets me with so much excitement🥰 She really enjoys running with sticks that are double her size!🤣

🥳 1 Y E A R 🥳

1 Year in Business 😭🥳 I forgot to post last week but I can’t believe how fast the time has flown since I set up A Walk in the Park!!

I am officially back from holiday! I saw these gorgeous faces yesterday and they were all soooo excited to have me back🥰🤣

It’s going to be a warm week, so I will let you all know how it goes regarding walks and make sure they have plenty of water!☺️ It is nice to finally have some sun instead of being rained on constantly 😂

Meet Benji 😍💛

Benji is the sweetest and most handsome 9 month old labrador! I popped in to visit him this afternoon and we had a play in the garden with his ball and carrot and then I made him a Kong with treats in, which took him no time at all😂 It’s been a lovely first visit with Benji, I can’t wait to see him again🥰
