A Secure and safe Play area/Garden to excercise and play in

For a full groom I cover de-sheding/de-moulting, earplucking outer ear only, nail clipping and any requirements you will need for your dogs stay and groom. (hand stripping is also available at a resonable cost)

I offer inbetween baths and pampers so they can come in for just a bath and a pampering with no clipping/trimming and they leave relaxed and always smelling beutiful helping the ciatcstay unmayted clean and more so allergy free. For bull breeds ( my specialised subject ) I offer a facial wrinklecleaning service and with all bull breeds i never over use heat when drying. All grooms and prices can be tailor made to suit each clients needs. and times and days can also be flexible for after hours to suit just ask. The groom will consist of a health check a full groom. or inbetween/groom they will then be bathed and dried and then trimmed/scissored to you requirements. A massage before and after every groom/bath/tidy up and always a sing song a cuddle and play time and regular breaks , some times especially with covid regulations, the groom can take longer. Pet massage is available as part of the grooming experience . Pet massage is a wonderful way to indulge your pet and contribute to his or her health and well-being. Among the many benefits of pet massage are:

•Helping puppies with socialization and training
•Reducing the pain of degenerative disorders, stiffness and muscle cramping in older or arthritic dogs
•Calming and relaxing the nervous systems, improving circulation and mobility

I cover all breeds and all styles, from pets trims to show breed styles
we can discuss this beforehand at the consulation,

Always One to one care for the dog and i never leave your dog on its own, I always include a relaxing massage for the dog before and after grooming to ensure they remain relaxed and at ease and this also helps the bond beteween groomer and the dog. I am a home run salon I am an Independent Business. Walks and playtime is always encouraged and always offered with regular breaks treats and water . We have a play area and the use of the garden in the warmer days there will be lots of play outside but also with lots of shade there will also be a water pool for the ones who like to splash ! (Always supervised)

This will be a truly pampering time for your loved dog. Many salons have bathers and groomers so they are able to groom more dogs and faster so the times are always less but i I work alone, by appointment only, groom one dog at a time unless of the same family and tailor every groom to your dog’s needs. Therefore, depending on the temperment of your dog and the condition of their coat, a typical grooming takes between 2 to 4 hours. I take my time and never rush you dog as i feel it is so important for your dog to enjoy the grooming. Home made low fat Dog treats will be given when grooming and if on special food requirements others treats can be given. I use for the training praise reward or treat rewarding. I cover nervous or agressive dogs this will take time but is always encouraged with training and young and elderly dogs are always welcome I have experience with all types of nerves/agression young and elderly . Advice and professional guidance is available on Nutrition and Behaviour and overall care of your dog .

As many of you know I will be moving & I will now be closing in April.

I'm hoping to reopen in May after half term. ( not a definite)

I will post on here when I'm opening I will be remaining in the village & similar set-up.

It's a big project at home & I won't be able to remind you in April if I'm opening or not as I will be incredibly busy & I don't want to let you down by saying I will & then I can't.

If your pooch is needing regular clipping & grooming to avoid matting & maintenance then please get them booked in ASAP at other groomers as I can't promise I will be able to groom your pooch & the warmer weather will be like every year approaching ( hopefully 😀)

Apologies I've had to rearrange so much due to my home life, sickness last night & having to cancel so much due to this & childcare.

I will try to fit in as many appointments as I can before I close but I'm already a week behind with sickness.

I would suggest if I can't, booking with another groomer so you get your appointment with out me cancelling due to childcare issues.

Oh my Molly Moo bags , her eyes are like a baby deer 🦌 & the sweetest and most strongest 💕 legs ever I'm sure she's half hedgehog as she's incredibly bendy, when she says no thanks to me touching her feet and legs! The pretty song always appears when molly is near xx

My little Molls, I pre snip, this relaxes her its our routine ( depends on each individual needs if to pre clip )

It has taken me months, for her to voluntarily let me trim her face, with out the need to hold her chin, & only have my hand under it.
I had to in places cut short due to matting, but she let me , & comfortably for her.

Her legs & feet , well ....she's like an incredibly strong hedgehog and curls up, so thats a very probmatic area, for many 🐕 dogs but I managed all her nails, a trim and comb which with her being so small, she's like the strongest dog I know and literally curls them up ! Skills .....

I don't normally work on the weekends But today I am & what better way to start a day us with gorgeous Miss Morgan , who I've had the pleasure to know since she was the most gorgeous pup 🐶 ♥️ & in for her pamper, a deep oatmeal body shampoo scrub with a gentle conditioner and a nail trim with paw 🐾 balm and a little nose balm for good measure ♥️ ❤️ a low setting on the dryer as she really doesn't like the faster dryers , so I won't use them as a pamper must be stress free to enjoy it ♥️

Thankfully it's cooler 😎 & nothing beats A choccy woccy Spaniel , all scissors trim, as he has a fear of clippers, so each groom i gentle introduce the noise, feels , vibrations to help them desensitise to the process as with a little matting behind the ears, all long haired/curly breeds, prone area, using scissors is an incredibly patient skill in such delicate area's, , & that clipping is a safer option.

So we are no way near him being comfortable with them as yet, but as you can see he's relaxed, the odd nose lick, this is a sign of him reassuring himself and letting me read the signs to anxiety too.

so always at his pace, no rush drying /blasters and it takes a good hour longer, but his stress/anxiety levels are lower.

My little man, I'm cautious Carol with my Mr G, as he has issues with his back/spine, so he uses my arm alot, lots of breaks, no belly ties or straps on his torso area, takes longer, but i rather for most of my dogs, not use the faster dryer, as if they don't like it, I dont use it.
& isn't he just a gorgeous little 😍 💕 pooch his little teefies & sticky out tongue are just amazing 😍

But once in the dungeon hes my mate 😂. woody & rocky, are incredibly funny, so clever & switched on i love woody like another brother from another mother ! Not sure he says the same ! But he's such a looker isn't he 😍

I learnt Hugo settled with me more if I lowered the table down & I groomed him while on my knees, so I was under him, not to into his face, & not over him or above him, to avoid the Flight coping mechanism some recue dogs have and non rescue dogs,its a natural intuition for us all, fight or flight when stressed,panicked etc, so his signals were very clear in his needs & I managed to groom him with as less stress as possible #stressless #doggrooming #fightorflight #rescuedismyfavoritebreed

Hes such a funny boy 🤣, he actually doesn't have any plums which is a good thing at times especially for me 🤣 but he just gets on with it no matter what and he makes me laugh so much we have such a fun time together he brings out my silly side x
