Man's Best Friend Rescue & Training Association Dog training with over 45 years of experience. We offer day training, behavioural, classes, 1-2-1 and more!

We are based in and around Lincoln and offer a variety of dog training methods to suit individual dogs and owners. Our lead instructor has over 45 years experience in dog training and behavioral issues and will offer help and assistance with any issues however big or small! Had the one day training, as well as a home visit from Chaz. We have a 6 month old cockapoo that had to say hello to every dog on a walk and also wouldn’t leave our other dog alone. Just one day and the home visit, I have a changed dog. Chaz is so great at explaining how to correct behaviour, and you see the difference during the session itself. Easy to implement tools and knowledge. Could not recommend any higher! Thank you so much for your help. We will be joining for group classes next week.

This is what it’s all about!!! 🙌🏼 our aim is to make a REAL and sustainable difference. ❤️

We had tried all sorts of different techniques with our 22 month old rottie - such a lovely, gentle and friendly girl who just wants to meet every other dog she passes. We were struggling to stop her as she tried to greet any dog in sight, pulling, lunging and then growling in frustration as we held her back. Understandably, not everyone wants an excited 45kg Rottweiler heading in their direction! From our very first interaction with Laura, we knew we were on a winner! Laura was so responsive, professional, positive, non judgemental and answered all of our questions and concerns before we booked a residential with Chaz. The change in our girl is immeasurable. Chaz has done the most amazing job, walking our beautiful girl is now such a pleasure. Chaz has given all of us the tools to manage her impulses (and ours!) so that she is so much calmer and less excitable when passing and meeting other dogs. Chaz and Laura, we simply cannot thank you enough 👏🙏

Happy New Year! As we close the year we would like to say a big thank you to everyone who has supported us over the last year. It’s been a rewarding year for us, being able to help so many dogs and their owners. Classes begin again on 4th January, let’s start 2025 as we mean to go on!!

A very kind review passed along us to via an email….. ❤️

He looks like butter wouldn’t melt but I was having such a reactive time with my dog Bob that I had started planning routes to take him out so I wouldn’t see any other dogs. It had become quite miserable and knew I needed to do something.
Chaz was recommended and I’m so glad they did. Bob spent the day on training and it was amazing to see the difference in his reactivity. Bob was so much calmer and so was I!
Chaz explained what was happening with Bob emotionally and why he was reacting the way he was but has given me tools to rectify it. I feel calmer myself too!
I am also going to go on the group sessions which will help Bob and I put into practice what we have learnt.
I couldn’t recommend highly enough.

Did you know we run obedience classes that are for ALL ages. They’re continual classes throughout the whole year with no beginning or end and no need to pre-book! Meet Freddie! His owners were struggling to walk him due to his reactivity. There hope was to be able to take him out again one day for a normal walk without, in their words, any ‘drama’! Within just one day Freddie was like a new man…. 🎤 Volume on!…. Meet Saffie, a small rescue Lurcher x Saluki. Saffie’s owner described walking her as ‘hard work’ due to her reactivity around other dogs. After just one day with Man’s Best Friend she’s now a happy, calm and content around others!… as is her owner! 😉🐾 Well done! 👏🏼

What a difference a day makes!!! Lady was very reactive to all other dogs meaning walks were not an enjoyable experience! Within a day she has learnt that other dogs aren’t so bad after all! She still has a little way to go to build her confidence up but we think she did a great job!!! 👏🏼 ⭐️ Well done Lady!
