Last weeks Waggy fun, quiet shaded sessions keeping cool but lots of fun still had! Megan (Emma’s niece) joined us for a session too and went down a storm 🥰 some lovely walks and paddock time too with our boarders 🐶🐶

Well what a week!! It’s had a bit of everything… rain, sun, extreme heat and drama thanks to our little Ethel being taken poorly at the paddock and giving me the fright of my life, happy to report she was back to her normal self in the space of an hour or so and our emergency plans work 😂🙈 lots of happy dogs having fun in the pools and the shade too and lovely boarders including Freddie the slipper thief 😂😂

Last weeks waggy fun including our lovely weekend boarders, we also got meet Lisa’s dog Chase last week too, the first time she has joined us for a session and smashed it, took it all in her stride, hunting for balls, think she could be Parker’s partner in crime 😂🥰🐶

Our lovely Lisa had to say goodbye to her gorgeous girl Kool today 🥲 she was a very poorly girl, so heartbreaking. I know they have had so many adventures together with her sister Chase too, Lisa adored her and she will be massively missed. Sending you and your family all our love and thoughts.

We got the very unexpected, sad news today that our gorgeous little Missy had crossed rainbow bridge in her sleep 😔🌈

Missy has been a firm part of our Waggy family for many years and absolute best friend to Ethel, she loved her so much, these pugs have to stick together.

She’s boarded many times and came every week to sessions, such a good girl always making herself at home and friends with everyone 🥰

Her favourite thing to do was protect the paddock from the digger next door and any tractors passing by! Barking at them and seeing them off much to the amusement of the work men 😂 The random barking in the van at nothing always kept Emma on her toes too🙈😂

We’ve loved you being part of our family and thank Joy for choosing us. Such a small dog with such a big character, you will be missed so much.

All our thoughts are with Joy at this sad time. Run free Missy Missy moo, Mitsy, little pig over rainbow bridge where great company is waiting for you 🐶🌈xx

Hi everyone the weather looks set to be hot for the next few days, we will have the paddling pools out and stick to the shade however sessions maybe cut short if it seems to hot for the dogs or they are struggling ☀️☀️☀️ summer has finally arrived! Completely understandable if you’d rather cancel, if you think your dog will struggle and doesn’t need to come, your dogs safety is our main priority 🐶🐶

We’ve been asked to host the fun dog show at the Eagle Community Primary School summer Fayre this saturday, the school is local to our paddock and we were very happy to help out, so please come along for what looks like a great family day out and please share to spread the word 🐶🐶

We got a sand delivery yesterday afternoon, the dogs absolutely love our little sand pits so we ordered some fresh for this year, thanks to Alpha concrete as always ☺️ the dogs loved it, there will be some sleepy pups tonight 🐶🥰

🌈🐶 Hi everyone, some sad news to bring you I'm afraid, one of our golden oldies, Meg has crossed rainbow bridge 😔 Meg has been a super regular part of our Waggy family for well over 11 years, she’s one of Spirits best friends and a firm favourite with everyone.

I can remember her first boarding days well and her cheeky nature, even finding her once just standing on my dining table, looking at me as if to say… look what I can do! 😂🙈 nothing was safe in those early days, put it away or loose it! I’ve lost count of the number of times Meg has boarded with us, she’s even moved house with us twice! Sleeping on a mattress with us and eating take out pizza as she was boarding the night before we moved 🥰

Meg was ball and food mad, she loved nothing more than hunting balls out or anything really that could be thrown lol and plonking them on your knee or at your feet, not taking her eyes off you, ready for the game to start, I’m sure I had the whole contents of the toy box on my knee more than once 😂😂

Megs nose could sniff out even the smallest crumb, our kitchen floor was always nice and clean whenever she stayed. Meg also loved all the attention she could get and if she wasn’t getting enough she would make sure she let you know about it.

Megs spirit never faltered not even as she got older making it to the ripe old age of 14, she was always so happy and eager whenever she came, we always had our work cut out trying to slow her down 🙈

We’ve all got so many memories of her as she has grown with our family and we shall all miss her massively. All our thoughts and love are with Megs owners at this sad time, Thankyou for letting us be such a big part of her life.

Run free over rainbow bridge Meggy where the best company is waiting for you. Sleep tight. 🌈🐶

Hi everyone I just wanted to send a reminder of holiday days and days we are closed for May.

I’m on holiday from the 16th until the 22nd, the girls will be covering and those affected I should have already been in touch with, any problems let me know.

We will also be closed on the following days with no cover, if I’m able to move your sessions to another day I’ll let you know.

Last weeks fun and adventures, so nice to see the sun at last!! Please excuse the paddock whilst it waits for its much needed hair cut, we are also moving things around to take advantage of the natural shade. It was the gorgeous Frankie’s birthday on Friday too, thanks for the yummy treats and for the humans too! We all sang happy birthday (proof in the photos) 😋😋

Just a little video to show how we are trying our best to keep our boarders as cool as possible today, all sessions have been cancelled as it’s far too dangerous to go ahead, they get separate wee breaks every now and then, they are all just happy to lay out in the dark and wouldn’t even thank us for playtime or a walk. I know we can all be quick to over reacted to the weather sometimes but I’ve never known anything like the heat we’ve got today,. Your woofers safety really is our priority, stay safe everyone and remember if they are struggling get them wet and to the vet! 🐶☀️ will see you all soon for some lovely cool sessions I’m sure x
