Of course I am sure most of you have cancelled your house/pet sitters for the spring season due to holidays being cancelled and staying at home, so I thought I would share this video to help inspire you for entertaining your puppers. Just like you, your dog not only needs some physical exercise so that s/he doesn’t go stir crazy (hopefully most of you are able to walk your dog without getting close to humans or can throw balls and play fetch in the garden to wear them out) but also needs mental stimulation. It probably makes an even bigger difference to them than the physical stuff (especially the un-wearoutables among you - I’m looking at you Tessie!).
So treats under cups, hide and seek, and any other game that gets the nose involved or includes some kind of puzzle/figuring out, will make a massive difference - for both of you because otherwise they will seriously relish you being home with them so much and you won’t get a moments peace!
Lots of folk are envying those with pets at this time because there is an alternative to the internet, TV, and books (LOVING all the free online classes, courses and exercise/dance vids that people and businesses are posting!). You get to cuddle with your pet (which heals your body and boosts your immune system) and play with them.
It just so happens that I have 5+ months of back-to-back Sits booked in for later in the year (The first 5 weeks of which won’t be cancelled no matter what as it isn’t dependent upon travel).
And because I knew I would be so very ready for a break come Autumn, I decided to keep the weeks leading up to that long stint, free. I chose to spend all of spring living with my Gran (85) in my beloved Yorkshire which was so meant to be!
I have not lost out on any jobs at this time (yet!) and I have been able to run all errands, get prescriptions, buy food etc (when there is any!) for her as safely as I can, so that she can stay home and safe.
I am relishing the opportunity to work on my biz
Puppy Zoomies because it’s SO exciting to have a new friend visit!
