What a wonderful way to end the Duchy College Equine Events spring series. Even though I could ride them I am very thankful for Holly Pengelly who has kept him going so well!

So as a few of you already know a few weeks back Mae and myself had a rotational fall over a fence, we were both very luckly with only a broken arm and a sore head!
Yesterday Mae and Holly had her first lesson back since our accident and Iβm so so pleased that she hasnβt let it knock her confidence! π

Bailey is turning out to be such an exciting horse, sheβs only just turned 3 so taking things very slow but this week she has starting long reining and has had leaning over her while walking around the yard. She takes it all in her stride and doesnβt bat an eye at anything we have asked, so far anyway π π

Choccy & I did our first proper showjumping classes last night at Duchy College Equine Events
Had an unlucky pole in the 70cm (rider error) but went clear in the 80cm and placed 3rd π₯
We still definitely need to work on the speed side but am so so proud of him ππΌβ€οΈ

Meet Bella the new addition to the family.
Sheβs an unbroken 3 year old Dutch warmblood, sheβs a very sweet girl despite being a typical mare at times π«£
She arrived last week and has settled in amazing and best friends with Bailey β€οΈ yesterday we sat on her for the first time which she was incredible with and didnβt bat an eyelid. Sheβs an exciting one!

What a day! Took Choccy to our very first cross country hire at Lower Tokenbury Equestrian Centre .
He jumped everything amazingly couldnβt be proud of him!

Choccys schooling session today with Shannon Brazier went amazing despite the weather being awful βοΈ (sorry Shan π) He had his first clinic yesterday with John Chubb which he worked amazingly in. Canβt wait to get him out and about β€οΈ just need to keep on top of his and Maeβs training now πͺπΌ

Wishing everyone an amazing 2023 π This year has been amazing! Iβve enjoyed every second. I bought Choccy back in July this year and it was by far the best decision Iβve made for a while! Weβve had such an amazing year together and canβt wait for the future. Mae is back in full work and doing incredible! Sheβs an exciting one for the future also! I also want to say a huge thank you to all my wonderful clients and horses for being so amazing and supportive throughout the past year! Bring on 2023 ! π₯³

Choccy had a great jump session yesterday jumping a 90 (Biggest heβs ever jumped). Still lots to work on but excited to see how he progresses! β€οΈ

Eden Holistic Therapy did a treatment on Billy the other day! Billy has been struggling with a few body issues so these treatments do him a world of good! The difference is incredible!
First sit on Mr Reggieβ¦ isnβt he stunning π€© 3yr old Friesian x Warmblood gelding being backed by myself. He has shown great progress these last few weeks! Lots of long reining & lunging and now onto the riding part! He stood beautifully today while I sat on him. Looking forward to seeing what he becomes in the future! π
