Surprise your little ones with our Christmas Spectacular afternoon
Join us to meet and greet Father Christmas and receive a present, visit his real life Reindeers, visit the ponies and horses and have a lovely pony ride. Then stop by at the hotel for arts and crafts, all this for only £20
The hotel will also be serving light refreshments and hot and cold drinks.

Christmas Activities Are Now Out

Monday 19th December we are taking bookings for Children with SEND through the Active Cornwall Time 2 Move Programme, so please head over to their website and get yourselves booked in.
Dont forget to purchase your tickets with us to visit santa and his reindeers, together with pony rides and arts and crafts.
Each family will enjoy meeting with Father Christmas in his magical Christmas cabin where all the boys and girls will receive a wrapped gift
The ponies and horses will all be here to greet you, and then you have the opportunity to meet the stars of the show Santa’s magical reindeers
You can have a chat and learn all about the reindeers from the handlers within the pen area
Pony rides are available
There will also be a craft and colouring area
All the above is included in the ticket price of £20 per child. Adults go free.
Make your little ones day that extra bit special and treat them to our build a bear workshop where they can choose a 16" teddy bear/animal and fill it with love and sealed with a kiss for our Christmas special rate of £15 per teddy. These can be purchased on the day.
Have something to eat and drink in the hotel bar/rstaurant, hot and cold refreshments available
and our very popular hot chocolate with marshmallows and cream (when you purchase a hot chocolate
you can even keep the christmas mug!)
Timings for the day
Reindeers are available to view between 12 noon and 4pm
Father Christmas will be meeting and greeting between 12.30pm and 3.30pm
Pony Rides are available between 1pm and 3pm
Build a bear available 12.30 to 3.30pm
Hotel Open serving refreshments 12 noon to 5pm
Please book your tickets and then welcome to turn up any time between those hours
Join us through the week for some fantastic quality time with the ponies and horses.
Just sit and watch them or enjoy listening to them munching.
Bring one in for grooming and take a little ride out if you please.
Great Trethew Trekking is happy to work with our local schools to provide both horse riding and stable management which meet the National Curriculum Guideline for PE (Levels 1 - 4) as well as for Citizenship where the emphasis is on the value of volunteering, improving communities, managing risk and diversity.
We are more than happy to work with young people earning their Scouting badges for Horse Riding as well as young adults completing their Duke of Edinburgh Awards.
We are more than happy to offer an hour's session of Horse Therapy which can be split between riding and basic horse care. The pupil will learn the basics of riding - walk and trot as well as how to groom the horse or pony. They will learn the different parts of the horse and tack.
We also offer our ride and lead sessions which is all of the above and including the basics to leading.
Or moving on to our Stable Management where students will learn grooming, tacking up, riding and leading, as well as good stabling and field management.

We still have a few spaces available on our Mondays and Wednesdays.
