🪽Rest in Peace Em 🪽
This is a post that nobody should have to be writing, and seeing posts from her family I can only imagine what they’re going through right now.
I’m going to try and keep this as short as possible. You’ve known me since I was in short trousers and was your little little sisters annoying friend from school. But in the last 3 years you became one of my closest friends, my go to when times were s**t, someone I could voice anything too. Even if you were feeling rough as f**k you’d not let me know to be there on the phone if I needed someone. You were so strong even when you had no strength left. Right up til the end you’d still found a way to smile.
You were one in a million and your family is my family. If your boys, mum or sisters need anything and I can help, then I will be there.
And lastly thank you for trusting me with your boy. I promise to give Bageerah the best life possible.
Rest easy Em we’ll see you again soon 💔 Xx

My A1 from day 1
Guys please watch this, this is serious now. Follow Jamie’s instructions and let’s do what we can.
E-COLLAR 🤔 Guess I’ll make this a 2 in 1 then…
Tyrone is staying!
Most of you already figured out I wasn’t letting this boy go anywhere but I was just keeping my cards close to my chest.
He’s amazing with my other dogs, my children and becoming curious in wanting to meet and seek out relationships with new people, which leads me onto my next point
Without the E-Collar this dog would be dead. Tyrone came to me as many of you know with a serious bite history, the worst of which being the night he came into my care.
Ty was people aggressive. He would bond fairly quickly with whoever was in immediate and continuous contact with him, but anyone new it was no questions asked go time. He was so uncertain of new people that his initial response had become bite first and carry on.
Now I never had an issue and was comfortable and confident with him very quickly but for the first day or so he did not like my partner at the time. When we first got home he wanted to hurt her and it was all from being uncomfortable and stressed and months of a new learnt behaviour. This behaviour continued a few times with new people coming in the house too and the only way to snap him out of it while removing conflict between dog and handler was to correct him with the E-Collar. Then through advocating for his space and rewarding all the good decisions he made he has become quite the gentleman.
The E-Collar and a full understanding of correct and proper usage stemming from years of experience saved this dogs life. That and the courage of his previous owner to let him go.
Ty is now a member of my pack
He’s social
Neutral
Happy
And most importantly he’s alive
So for anyone who agrees with the banning of this tool I hope you know the blood of dogs like Tyrone is going to be on your hands.
This lad 😍

K9 CONNOR GROUP CLASSES
18th OF MARCH 2023
Hey guys so I’m starting my group classes again! These will run every 2 weeks to begin with on a Saturday for an hour and a half starting from 11am or 12pm
The focus will be mainly obedience and neutrality around large groups of dogs and continuing to aid you to progress further with your current training plan.
Classes are available to existing clients. Unless otherwise discussed with me, at least one 1-2-1 session is required to ensure you and your dog are ready to be in a group environment.
Booking is available on my website k9connor.co.uk
If you book 5 classes in a block you will only pay for 4 😉
members there is a further discount for you available to find on my trainer page with Honest Hounds. You’ll get the same 5 sessions for 4 but the sessions are £10 cheaper.
If you’re interested please either visit the website and get yourselves booked in online or DM me.
Classes are Coventry based and location will be given on confirmation of attendance by WhatsApp to a group that I will add everyone to.
Just some of the pups I’ve been lucky enough to work with recently ♥️
🎄Merry Christmas from my pack to yours 🎄

Do you agree?
for the inappropriate
Absolutely no way was I missing out on this trend 😂
💵 Money is tight right now but people still need their dogs trained. So from now, up until the new year I am offering a 25% discount on all session packages booked of 3 sessions or more.
‼️The maximum discount we currently do is roughly 16% so the more you book the more you save.
🚘 This discount only applies to the cost of the session, not the fuel charge. This is only because the price of fuel hasn’t changed and the fuel charge is inclusive of fuel and travel time.
📧 DM me to book your sessions in!!!
🗓️First session will be in December but it’s not required, if you can’t start until January that’s fine.
A dog’s gonna dog 🐶
Thank you to for dropping this gem on his recent reel, because it’s so true.
No matter how well trained your dog is, when left to their own devices they will do what suits them best.
So don’t get mad at your “in training dog” if you leave them unattended and they chew your shoes. Or they’ve mad a hole in your favourite jacket because you left treats in there or got into the food bag.
They are just being opportunistic dogs.
Dog show ready
Thank you to everyone who came along to Saturday’s instalment of the very first dog show. It was great seeing everyone and all your amazing dogs.

Find a vet who will listen to you and guide but not dictate. You feeling comfortable is essential!
Introducing calm and a positive association with vets is so very important. Best done as a pup, but negative experiences can be reversed.
Nellie used to freak the #&@% out at the vets and had to be muzzled. She would p*e on the floor, scream, try to escape etc (due to a lack of socialisation, abuse before finding her forever home with Abi and mistakes at previous vets).
Xena on the other hand absolutely loves the vets. She never had an experience like Nellie and was exposed to the vets at a young age. So being the star she is, takes it all in her stride.
But if you scroll across you'll see Nellie taking a treat from a member of staff at Bay Tree Vets (Abi's local vet in Stourport).
The staff here have been so helpful and understanding of our choices as trainers. They've given no judgement towards our use of training tools or choice of feeding, just understanding of what each dog need and our knowledge both as professionals and owners.
If you need any help with your dog regarding vet visits we suggest you contact a trainer. You're welcome to message either of us.

As most of you have seen in my stories and highlights, this is Koba.
He is a working cocker spaniel who is staying with me for 2 weeks.
What are we working on with Koba?
Tool desensitisation
Loose lead walking
Thresholds and food manners
Obedience
The tool desensitisation is a difficult one as he had a bad experience, getting some of his fur caught behind his ear.
So anything near his head or even just getting the lead has forced him to want to run away. So we are taking it slow and trying to make every session a positive one.
His lead walking is pretty good, I can't complain at all. As long as you keep on top of having his attention and give clear direction, he is really good.
We just need to work on him initially wanting to take off for every walk.
As far as his thresholds, food manners, and obedience, this boy is really good and really bloody clever. He picked everything up almost immediately.
Now you might be wondering "what's that he's wearing?"
Well that is a personalised, train 'A DOG'S WAY' K9connor training lead. Swipe for a full image 🤩
Thank you Lucy for the amazing lead I love it
