Me and Nova got chatting to Hillary a few weeks ago and I am so glad we got to cross paths! This is a heart felt, funny book from the mind of a curious hungry cocker who loved meeting new friends in Scotland and then ventured to Southport! It's an easy soul warming read for any dog lover and a beautiful memoir for Caddy now he has passed away! Some proceeds are also going to charity if anyone wants to order for a light read as we're going into the autumnul months!❤️🐾

Hii everyone! Just a message with a few things that have come to our attention and some things that we're putting in place and will be enforcing going forward. Ie - Cancellation Fees and Cable Issues
Firstly we want to say how grateful we are to all of our customers old and new and we pride ourselves on having a friendly one to ones, we understand that times have been hard over the past few years and we have always tried to be forthcoming with situations in terms of rearranging appointments.
However we do have a cancellation policy in place which we want to make everyone aware of; a cancellation 24hours before the app will have a £15 fee to be paid before the next appointment, a cancellation on the day or a no show will have a FULL GROOM charge. We have a long wait list and having to rearrange an app will mean someone will miss out on getting on our books.
We make sure we pirotise sending reminders for your appointment and can send 50+ messages a week and all we ask is that you let us know in advance if you need to change or at least message back to confirm the booking.
We will always do our best to accommodate any situations and know that something's are out of your control however it does mean we have lost money and as I have been fortunate to expand the business to allow lots more of your lovely dogs to get groomed this does mean I have a lot more over heads to cover and can't afford to let payments slip.

In terms of our cables, we have heavy duty cables which can withstand cars driving over and hot/cold weather however I need to reiterate that our cables do not fit through letterbox's and can not have the doors or windows shut on them. We are constantly having to repair these and as a result they're getting shorter which means we might not be able to reach the house from where we park.
We will have to start charging if we find our cable has been sliced as they are not cheap to replace. I know we're coming into winter with rain and cold weather and people will want to keep their heat in, if this is an issue we will no longer be able to groom your dog.

We had a lovely chat with Lindsey from the Pet Blood Bank as we’ve volunteered our girls as donors🩸 It’s not something many of us would even think about but of course, when our furry ones are sick or injured they may need a blood transfusion and blood stocks are essential.

“Pet Blood Bank exists to help save the lives of pets in need. We are a UK charity with welfare at our heart.

Our charity was set up to support vets by providing a blood service for pets, just like the one we have as humans.

We run donation sessions across the country where owners bring their much loved companions to give blood. The blood is taken to our processing centre in Loughborough where it is separated into different products. It is then stored and sent out to vets when they need it.

We operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to ensure blood is always available.”

Can't recommend WagWater of Southport enough! Nova has had the best swim today, lots of amazing staff with friendly encouragement and advice, a super safe enclosure, more tennis balls than Nova knew what to do with!🐾 They provide swimming aids and lessons for dogs who are nervous or can't swim aswell! We will definitely be back❤️

We are now currently fully booked!🐾🐾 We do still have a cancellation list but we may not be able to get back to everyone's messages. Our next appointments now won't be until July/August time. We are taking deposits for all new customers and will be enforcing full cancellation fees.
Spark and Bark is now busier than ever and we can't thank you enough for everyone's continued support and recommends🤩
Please make sure you have your appointments block booked as this is the only way to guarantee your slots, we will be assessing our books in the summer and will keep everyone updated as to when we can take on new customers again!
As we are coming into summer we have to bear in mind the temperature of the van as this can get to temperatures in excess of 40'c, we will always do our best to groom your fur babies but will be keeping an eye on the weather and may have to time or cancel appointments. Unfortunately this is the price we pay in the summer for being mobile but thank you kindly for understanding 🐾😚
