Our planning application has been submitted to Knowsley Council to retrospectively approve the two newest fields -ie the Action and Activity Zones, which we have demonstrated are needed as we are already close to capacity
You can have your say by commenting on the application It was your support which undoubtedly made a difference with our first application which was finally approved in January
We need your support again please. It takes just a couple of minutes and could make all the difference

Finally we have finished the section behind the pond.
It’s been an exhausting day and we have mostly used the mountain of toil soil in the car park
Tomorrow we can add the parking signage to the car park and I have to get the pond plants in
We want to look our best for the visit from Knowsley planning department which could be any time in the next few weeks !
A busy morning.
The grass has been cut in all 3 fields and they are looking fabulous
Mud mats laid through the first entrance to the pond
This afternoon we relay and finish off mud mats at the rear gate to the pond and will hopefully have time to add more plants to the pond
Please pray for dry weather for us
Reactive dog owners
Adventure Zone is our most suitable It is fully screened with a considerable gap between the other Zones.
We are contemplating offering a limited number of “quiet slots” in the Action and Activity Zones when only one of these is open.
If your dog is reactive and this is of interest let me know
Please don’t let your dogs run riot around the pond and destroy the plants. This poor plant was was left dug up - I’ve replanted it and hopefully it will survive
Each plant costs around £25 -£30 So far the spend on plants is £500. We have more plants going in tomorrow when the Adventurw Zone is closed to sort out drainage and a path through the gate
The plants are needed to maintain a healthy pond.
I thought the tyres would be enough to protect them.

I really don’t like having a moan but needs must
Lots of rubbish around the picnic table and dog poos left in the Action Zone. This is NOT ACCEPTABLE
I was in there late afternoon yesterday so i can start to pinpoint culprits
For the avoidance of doubt it’s a lifetime ban if you aren’t willing to clean up after you and your dog It’s a dog park for exercising your dogs not a picnic area to be abused
I have been resisting a price increase but it looks like it’s inevitable and we will invest in a grounds person to be on site more together with additional CCTV cameras
Our loyal regular uses can avoid the price increase by taking out a monthly subscription which already gives a decent discount
Such a beautiful morning at Zoomies Zone.
Our labs are starting the day with a swim
We are closing the Adventure Zone on Monday 8.00 am to 4.00 pm to carry out work in the pond - more planting, drainage and a path through the first gate
If you have already booked we can move you to another day or the Action Zone
Such a beautiful day ☀️ 🌞 at last
We have availability in the Action Zone and also our new Activity Zone for small dogs
If you have felt you can’t revisit having a dog after the pain of bereavement, we beg of you to reconsider. We understand the pain, we really do. But the pain of all the dogs lost being forever in this horrendous crisis, never being given a chance to show who they really are, is even more painful and what you don't realise in your grief is that you need a dog to rescue you ❤️🩹 They're the only ones who can help and we promise much as it won't seem like it - it will help you more than anything else could.
To help another is the only way we know to carry on. They will help heal a broken heart and fill a void in your life, giving you distraction and something to pour your love into and to give you all the love back.
You can foster without commitment to see how you feel or you can take a dog on trial and see how you feel. You don’t have to adopt if it’s not right for you. Just please let one of those most in need save you this time 🙏🙏🙏
Please everyone share your experiences of helping another below 👇🐶
Please be aware of your dogs abilities in water if you are booking the Adventure Zone.
The rainwater pond is deep in places although the sides slope gently There is a fence and gates and we ask customers to
Close these but always recommend you check before letting your dog near the pond.
If your dogs aren’t confident in water you may prefer to book the Action (RED) Zone
***Awareness Post***
We've had two requests to search for dogs recently. Sadly they've drowned and at this time of year they have resurfaced before we could get there, leaving their owners with a traumatic task of recovering them.
There are a number of breeds that CANT SWIM or are POOR SWIMMERS. They can sink very quickly and with best efforts to save them it is often not possible.
You rarely get a second chance with water.
Your dog may never have shown an interest in water, or may just paddle. But dogs are instinct reactive and it only takes one accident.
Please don't take the risk. Please keep breeds that are known to be poor swimmers on a lead near water. At least then you have a chance of saving them.
Some of the breeds most known that can't swim/poor swimmers and most at risk are...
• French Bulldogs
• English Bulldogs
• Pocket Bully's
• Pugs
• Dachshunds
• Boxers
• Shih Tzu's
• Basset Hounds
• Corgi's
• Maltese

Our water loving labs where delighted this morning Following the rain 🌧️ the swim pond is a little deeper so they had a great time The stream through the woodland is flowing quickly so the water level is being controlled.
Small dogs enjoy exercise too! We are delighted to announce the opening of Zoomies Activity Zone to compliment our existing fields The Activity Zone is for small dogs only (up to 15kg) so would include Jack Russell’s, French Bulldog, Cavalier King Charles, Boston terrier, chihuahua, border terrier, Lhasa apso, miniature poodle, Shih tzu, whippet, Yorkshire terrier, and westie Also a great place to let your pups off lead to practice recall. The path of self binding gravel should make this area suitable for wheelchairs/ prams £12.50 for an hour; £7 for 30 mins. This fixed price is for up to 5 dogs and up to 2 cars, so you can visit with a friend. HALF THE COST DOUBLE THE FUN! Www.zoomieszoneliverpool.co.uk The calendar will be live on our website soon, in the meantime, you can use this link https://app.acuityscheduling.com/schedule.php?owner=23462637&calendarID=10310059
The first plants are in the dogs swim pond The tyres will hopefully protect the plants from dogs until they are established PLEASE DO NOT MOVE THE TYRES I have an idea of what this pond will look like in 3 months - Clear water, lush grass and stunning native plants, all attracting wildlife
We have some availability today - head over to our website and treat you and your dogs to a walk in our stunning fields Making the most of the weather I am adding more plants to the duck pond - the water is beautiful and clear now Later today we will start planting the dogs swim pond so it is equally stunning @followers
opens this weekend the Activity (yellow) Zone - for smaller dogs Up to 15kg only £12.50 for an hour £7 for 30 mins
This weather is perfect for the grass It’s great to see the grass starting to grow around the rainwater pond Our next jobs are to lay mud mats at the other entrance and also to plant the perimeter of the pond with marginal pond plants which I have ordered today We need to ensure that when the rain starts to fall heavily this doesn’t become a muddy mess ! It may be that we close off the pond in the autumn to Grass seed
The new Activity Zone will hopefully be open soon ! For small dogs 🐶 and pram / wheelchair friendly
It was an early inspection of the Adventure Zone this morning. My labs love water it was difficult to get them out. The water level is fairly high now so the stream through the woodland has started to flow slowly Hopefully we can add the pond plants and grass seed the perimeter very soon. This week we will be laying mud mats at both entrances to the pond The rainwater pond is deep in places for your dogs to swim. Please only use this if your dogs are confident in water. If you do not intend to use the pond, you should check the two gates are closed before letting your dogs off lead. You are responsible for your dogs safety. There is now a fence around the pond, so this feature of the Adventure Zone is optional, but we cannot guarantee that your dogs will not find a way into the pond. There are two gates which should only be opened if you would like your dogs to use the pond and MUST BE CLOSED AFTER USE for the safety of the next customer and their dogs.
The section of the rear of the Adventure Zone now has winding pathways strimmed through it so you and your dogs can wander and appreciate the planting
So here is the shape of the pond. If you look closely you can see an overflow pipe at the back which will control the height of the pond and feed the stream through the woodland. Fresh water is coming through the ground we think from a stream so the pond will fill up. When the ground is firmer we will be planting the perimeter with pond plants.
Today has finally arrived. It may look like a muddy mess but this guy and his machine know what they are doing !
As work within the new areas is complete we are focusing on our car park and entrance First impressions count, so we are landscaping the area. Just a few tasks for the new Zones - we need to finish the path in the Activity (yellow) Zone and deliver a round picnic style bench to the Action (Red) Zone It’s then back into the Adventure (purple) Zone to finally dig out the swimming pond for dogs. This will necessitate closing for a full day, Our contractors have promised to confirm a date soon. We are waiting for United Utilities to connect us to mains water. I suspect we are at least a few weeks away from having a tap and shower in each Zone. In the meantime we need to keep busy, so you will see the huge mound of top soil start to disappear. We are grass seeding the area with the fence and have already planted new trees - cherry, apple and pear and added flower baskets for a splash of colour. Since taking this photo we have added four solar lights on sensors to the fence for when hours of daylight reduces again. We need a lot of rockery stones for the edges so it’s back on Facebook marketplace! At some point the stables will be replaced with a modern agricultural building but we need planning permission for this. On the subject of planning, within 28 days our second planning application for the site , for the new Zones needs to be submitted to Knowsley Council. Once again your support will be needed.
