➡️Show Jumping course of approx. 8 Jumps (not timed)
➡️Straight onto the Cross Country course (optimum time)
➡️ Finishes with another Show Jumping course (not timed)

MOUNTED GAMES COMPETITION
Thank you to Bisley & Sandown Pony Club for organising a great day of games.

Really well done to our mini team who placed 5th 🏵️
Hallie, Tilley, Mia, India & Rose

They showed excellent team work and skills for such a young team.

The winter training has set them up for these competitions - big thanks to Vicki & Caroline for running.

EQUIPMENT SET UP
Great to see so many helpers this morning at the Pony Clun Field, thank you all for coming. Think we had everything sorted in record time!

Gina & Naomi took the opportunity over bacon sandwiches to talk to those that came about the Pony Club Tests from E Test right up to A and what the benefits of taking them are.

Separate post will be coming about tests but we are running E to C Tests during the Easter Holidays.

- what a dressage judge looks for
- ⁠practise riding the movements
- ⁠riding your test in the grass arena

⭐️ Useful if you:
- are taking part in Mid Surrey’s eventing competition on 10th June (W&T, Pc70 and PC80 tests)
- ⁠for most other Interbranch eventing and dressage competitions
- ⁠for the Area 11 Regional and dressage championships qualifiers on June 22nd
- ⁠for Area 11 regional eventing qualifier 29th June
- wish to take the Introduction to Dressage badge at achievement badge testing day on 11th April

Learn your chosen test or have read through it before the day ( tests can be found on Entrymaster link below)

⁉️You can ride in any bit on this training day, but don’t forget to read the tack rules for any competitions you enter

HUNTER TRIAL 🐴

Congratulations to all 142 riders competing at our first Hunter Trial of 2025. Great to see so many friendly faces & we also welcomed newcomers to our Pony Club Field. The ground was perfect & the course rode brilliantly.

Huge thanks to our show secretary, Vicks Andrews, and to her army of helpers. Whether you were a jump judge, steward, starter, scorer, car parking attendant or whatever you did ....we each had our part to play for the Hunter Trial to run so smoothly!
A special thank you to Emma Mee for the 40 truly scrumptious lunches for our volunteers.

As always thank you to our amazing DC, Gina Kitchener, for all her hard work leading up to the event and on the day.

❓AREA 11 QUIZ❓

From ages 5 to 18 we had 5 mini teams and 5 junior/senior teams representing Mid Surrey Pony Club.

Every member showed extensive knowledge in all rounds of competition.

Such a great venue beside a huge park with playground rides and exercise equipment on which our members had great fun.

Best of all was MackyD on way home at motorway services.

HUGE thank you to Vicki H for running weekly training and making it so much fun!

A fun, friendly competition with lots of support available. Ideal for those wishing to give the sports of Tet and Tri a go, as well as providing great competition for more experienced athletes.

🐎 PRE-SEASON TRAINING
2 Day Course
🗓️ Mon 14/ Tues 15 April 2025
⏰ 10 am - 3 pm
📍 Pony Club Field

With the season starting what better way to train on grass in all PC disciplines of Dressage, Show Jumping & Cross Country that at our 2 day course. We are always staggered how much our riders progress over the 2 days.

Members of all ages are welcome - they will be in the saddle for up to 4 hours a day so please ensure the riders & the ponies are riding fit.

Parents of older members do not need to stay for the day.
Prize giving Tues 15 April at 2.45 pm

£70.00 per member with sibling discounts (2nd sibling £60, 3rd Sibling £50)

PC BAH SPRING FESTIVAL
1-2 March 2025
Freezing overnight temperatures, frozen stable water supply and solid arena surfaces couldn’t dampen the spirits of the Mid Surrey members and their supporters competing in Showjumping and Dressage at the Barrier Animal Health Spring Festival Finals at Addington Equestrian.

First up were our show jumpers on Saturday
Everyone rode well, with 3 of our riders making it to the jump off and the 80cm team placed 7th

Sunday was the turn of our dressage riders, all of whom should be congratulated for their beautiful riding and turn out.

For some this was the first time riding championship tests in a full size arena and for Jess, first time riding her pony at this level after lameness forced a last minute substitution. Some amazing individual results and the Team highlight: 1st place for our intermediate team of Daisy, Allegra and Georgia 🎉
