Here is our online booking for our next dog show on 24th March to save you from queuing up on the day.

Don't worry, we will still have our booking-in table and you can also enter into further classes on the day.

It costs £2 to enter each class.

⭐️Each class has it's own payment link, so all you need to do is choose your class, when given the option to leave us a message, just add your dogs name, then make the payment.

⭐️You will then receive an email response thanking you for booking your dog in. Keep this handy, as you will have to show it when entering into the dog show arena on the day.

This is a first… volunteer Joanne found a hedgehog (now named Daredevil!) hibernating INSIDE her lawnmower, nuzzled in against the blade! 😳

Thankfully Joane know to always fully check her garden and equipment before using them, otherwise that would have been an horrendous situation.

Rescue’s continuously harp on about the dangers and considerations people need when gardening, and rightly so! Strimmers are the biggest injury problem rescue’s see, with most needing euthanasia or passing away from injuries. We also have problems with people stabbing their forks in to compost heaps to turn it over, or when cleaning away piles of leaves; both or which are wonderful nest habitats. Netting also causes problems with entanglement, with a few cases seen here were the netting has cut deep into the skin or degloved a limb. We also see hedgehogs and hoglets inside bin bags that have been left for a while, that have come very close to being thrown away. And then of course you get issues of poisoning with various chemicals and traps not aimed directly at hedgehogs, but that affect and sometimes kill hedgehogs regardless.

We are on this planet alongside our wildlife; we just need to be considerate of them in realms where our existences overlap, such as out in our gardens. Volunteer Joanne knows this, and so saved a beautifully healthy hedgehog today through just taking a few seconds to check for wildlife first.

Daredevil was moved to an actual hedgehog house in the garden so that he can carry on hibernating in peace and safety 🥰

Please share this post far and wide as I’ve never heard of a hedgehog hibernating inside a lawnmower before but we need to be aware of it to prevent any potential future accidents 💜

Kota is a young girl who’s favourite thing to do is play with her toys 🧸 Kota will make a lovely companion.

As she is young, she needs training in certain areas such as walking on the lead and can occasionally lack manners, however every day she listens and has come on a long way with her training🙌🏼 any home will be supported with this training♥️

Kota is currently being assessed around dogs 🐶 however she is looking for a adult home due to her being excited and boisterous at times♥️

She really is a lovely girl and absolutely adores her humans, she’s got quite the personality and loves to give you cuddles♥️

Unfortunately it's foxtail season again 😞 Foxtail plants are a weed-type grass that can cause serious problems for animals!
Ear infections, nosebleeds/rhinitis, pyothorax, abscesses and tetanus are just SOME of the serious issues that can come from these little guys! If you notice your pet repeatedly sneezing, pawing at their ears, coughing or acting uncomfortable, these could be signs of a possible foxtail and should seek medical attention as soon as possible.

Absolutely gutted coming into the shop this morning. Some low life has decided to try to break in causing a lot of damage in the process. Why target a small business I do not know let alone a dog groomers. Luckily enough they haven’t managed to gain entry but there is no stopping them trying again tonight. If anyone seen anything last night and/or has cctv behind the shops or either of the entrances to the back let me know please💔police have been notified
