So after a busy Pony Day last week we move on towards March 👍

Wednesday 26th February - evening rally at 5.30

Saturday 1st March 12.30 all levels rally
Saturday 8th March 12.30 C test level and above rally

March - looking to run a C test - date TBA - let me know if interested and when’s good for you ( or not!)

Also dressage test time looming !!

So despite the harsh cold weather , I’m proud to say this bunch did exceptionally well today and all passed their D and D+ tests 👏👏

They deserved a medal
a) for turning up - dedication most definitely needed with horses !🏇
b) for looking so smart 🌟 and correctly turned out
c) for doing so well 👍 I’m very proud of you all but I had no doubt that you would 🙌

Thanks to all the help needed to get this show on the road , Viv and Lesley for all your support , and Emma McDonald for being such a fab friendly examiner ❤️( all the girls loved you )

Tuesday 31st December and Thursday 2nd January - pony days a few spaces available still

Saturday 4th January 12.30 to 2.30- all levels rally - preparation for the 12 th ( D and D+ tests).

Wednesday 8th January 5.30 to 7 all levels rally

Saturday 11th January- C/C+ rally 12.30 to 2.30

Sunday 12th January D and D+ tests- please let me know if you’re interested so I can plan and arrange times and groups

Just a quick reminder what’s going on in the next few weeks !!

Weekend lessons going ahead as usual ( just probably a few less if people are away etc)

Pony club rally December 21st - Xmas fun and games 12.30 to 2.30

Friday 27th December- pony day 9am to 2 pm- a few spaces still available

No Pony Club on Saturday December 28th

Tuesday 31st December- pony day 9am to 2pm

Thursday 2nd January - pony day 9am to 2pm

Saturday 4th January - there will now be an all levels rally to get ready for tests.

D/D+ looking at January 12th need to confirm date
C - early February ??

Saturday 30th November All levels rally ( a few spaces available due to cancellations !) getting ready for Xmas fun and games 🏇👍

Wednesday 4th December at 5.30
Xmas Fun and Games - prizes and rosettes 🏵️🏇🎄
Please note this is the last Wednesday rally until 2025 ( due to family birthdays and celebrations etc etc 🎉🥳)

Saturday 7th December C test level and above rally- again some more fun and games 😁

Saturday 14th December All levels rally
- to include Xmas jumping - YAY 😜

Saturday 21st December Xmas Party rally - lots and lots of fun games !! It’s nearly XMAS!!🎄 🎉🎅

Due to when Xmas Day falls

Pony days over the Holiday period will be

Monday 23rd December 9am to 2pm
Friday 27th December 9am to 2pm
Tuesday 31st December 9am to 2pm
Thursday 2nd January 9am to 2 pm

Places will be limited , so please book ahead to get your favourite pony ❤️

No Saturday rallies on 28th December or 4th January.

Provisional test dates in January and February for D, D+ and possibly C will be posted on here soon . Finding it really hard to coordinate dates as everyone seems to be away 😮🤪👎

Big THANK YOU to all those submitting forms for the tracks round Hale and Oglet 🙌❤️

Yesterday - it was like winning
the lottery!!!🎉🥳 I came home to lots more forms after picking up a load in the morning - you’re all stars , thank you . Presently, going through them and organising them .

Without those forms I cannot submit the DMMO Applications ( and expect to be in with a chance😮)😢

BUT THERES STILL LOTS OF TIME TO GET MORE IN - WITH EVERY FORM THAT COMES IN THERES MORE AND MORE CHANCE OF A POSITIVE OUTCOME 🙏

Go on do it - it’ll take you all of 10-15 minutes- I provide all the forms , maps and info 👍

Do it for Horseriders ! Do it for Future Generatuins of Riders! Do it for Yourself! The peace of mind that you’ve done everything you can to save these routes 👍
Don’t just rely on - it’s ok the others will do it !!! Some have ❤️ but I know loads more who haven’t 👎 ( they’re probably thinking the same as you)

10 forms - we get the applications on the table 👍
20 forms - we have a fighting chance 🤞🏻
30+ forms - that chance - the odds are significantly better ❤️

So my head is spinning 😵‍💫 all these DMMOS that need to be submitted for Hale and Oglet .

Lots of people have asked for forms - paper copies - 20 dropped and posted in the last few days!!👍😮Emails sent off left , right and centre!!

Please please please - fill them in . Don’t just think it doesn’t matter, because I think a lot of people are doing just and the forms aren’t coming back . Over 100 sent - I have 10 - for 2 DMMOs!! Need lots more or this won’t work👎

And to top it off we now need to make another one for the other side of the Lighthouse

Please let me know which route you rode and help me fill in the forms 🙏🙏. As you can see there will be no more horseriding along this stretch for awhile now that the new kissing gates have been installed 😢

Those of you who have forms for the Oglet shore and Hale/ Within Way tracks for which we’re trying to make a DMMO .

Every one counts !!👍 they really do !!

Harsh reality: I’ve sent out about 30 forms for each route-
Oglet -6 have been returned😔
Hale - 3 have been returned 😮👎

DON’T THINK IT DOESN’T MATTER BECAUSE IT DOES especially if everyone else thinks and does the same ! There’ll be no more coming my way.

Please🙏get the forms to me ASAP

I’m pulling the rest of the forms and application together now - hoping to send in next week ( if all the people who promised to do the forms get them back that is )
Even then , any late forms can forwarded on ….. just rather send in a significant number than a couple!!🙏

So quick update on what’s happening when in October!!and start of November

This Saturday is All Levels Rally12.30 - 2.30
Wednesday 23rd - 5.30 - 7pm all levels rally
Saturday 26th - C/C+ level rally at 12.30

Monday 28th - C+ training at 9am
Tuesday 29th - C+ stable management test😬😬

THURSDAY 31ST OCTOBER - HALLOWEEN PONY DAY 🕷️👻🎃 a few spaces left . Competitions and lots of spooky fun 👍and games 🎃

Friday 1st November - tests now postponed to later on in the month as many people are away- please get in touch if you want to do them - so we can reschedule when people want 👍

Saturday 2nd November- all levels rally

Sorry the rest of the Equestrian Access update - Part 2

St Helens - 2 of my DMMOS still waiting to hear back on

1) Cronton Lane / Blundells Lane - been with Planning Inspectorate 6 months now after there was 1 objection to make the track into a Bridleway.
2) Whiston Woods - order to make a Bridleway in August . Consultation period ends 17/10 - then we’ll know what objections there are ??

Knowsley- 2 of my DMMOS well over due and 2 local equestrians’ DMMOS to be decided on? Hopefully now Pex Hill been sorted KMBC will get a shift on ( I live in hope🙏) !!

Need to know what’s happening with Prescot to Cronton Greenway - on a go slow !! Country park proposals opposite me needs a chase up 🙄.

Any queries or if anyone needs help or advice - give me a shout .

Equestrian Access update 🎺

Quite a momentous week getting Knowsley Council to recognise PexHill tracks / DMMO as a BRIDLEWAY!!!🎉🎉

Now onto HALE and OGLET DMMOS

So the DMMO Application submitted by Lynne Moneypenny to Liverpool Council a few weeks back to add the track from Yew Tree Farm to Oglet shore has been lost ( at the Council) and has been resubmitted in person 👍great but hard work by Lynne 👏

Lesson here- always keep photocopies - I’ve submitted 7 so far and some forms have been lost in 4 of those applications😮yes 4 not a great ratio !!

Folks- I wouldn’t be wasting my time chasing these DMMOS - if I didn’t think there was a good chance ? It’s a legal process( not just a ROW officer’s take on whether he wants it or not !!🤔) and both the HALE and OGLET tracks are strong contenders

IF AND I SAY IF……. We get those EVIDENCE FORMS IN !

As long as we get enough back - WE HAVE A REALLY GOOD CHANCE to save both these routes 🤞🏻

So PLEASE PLEASE send them back in 🙏🙏
