Booked my dog in at Pets at Home vets in Prescot. Went for appointment and they told me it had been cancelled as I didn’t pay a £45 upfront fee. This is now standard. When I explained to the receptionist that I get shopping then pay, use gas,water, electricity then pay, get my car repaired at a garage then pay, get my haircut then pay she just looked at me with a blank expression. This is a disgrace.

Max and Benny’s offer a teeth cleaning service using the Emmi-Pet ultrasonic toothbrush. My friend Gary of Dial a Dog Wash (Burscough) took me for a masterclass today to show me how he has been getting amazing results. Thank you Gary for the training and letting me share your picture.

This little fella is 11 year old Alfie. Alfie usually goes to a dog grooming salon but he is quite nervous and his owner always worries that he is scared. Using a mobile dog wash means I come to your home and you can see how much care I take with your dog and also means you can get in the van and talk to him to reassure him until he gets to know and trust me. Alfie won’t be going to a salon ever again.
