6 years ago today , my beautiful Mum lost her short battle against cancer!
57 years a nurse , over 20 of them a specialised as a palletive care nurse.
She was a nurse longer than my Mother .
She was amazing , challenging at times ( All mums are😂) but completely selfless working up to 1 year before her death, retiring only because she had cancer .
Mum & Dad never had the chance to fulfil their retirement Dreams , she never saw or held her first great grand daughter Alba & for me most importantly she isn’t here by my side ever minute of ever day !
I can’t even begin to quantify the void that I feel , but what I do want to ask is that you all hold , hug & value what you have , make everyday special , and above all tell your people how much you love them , it really isn’t hard xx
