Finished off the week taking my horrible, little monster out with Cindy and Georgie. She almost behaved herself 🙄

It’s been a pleasure looking after some of ’s dogs this week. Next couple of weeks I’ll be focussing on other things but I’ll be back with some more details about ad hoc services soon 🐾

Tonight I want to say a big thank you to Ava, who has been working with me (officially) since July 2021 after doing some volunteering. I well and truly lucked out finding someone as passionate and hard working as Ava. She’s been such a pleasure to work with and I know she’s going to smash it with her new venture, Amor Dogs.

She’s one of very few people in the trusted inner-circle that are allowed to walk Harley 🐾🤣 and that’s very high praise from a very selective dog!! She’s put up with my anxiety and rambling voice notes and she’s been so amazingly reliable! I just can’t thank you enough.

Wishing you so much luck, even though you don’t need it! 🥰

I’ve made some really great friends over the past six years but a special mention to Amie at AK9's Livingston and Ian at The Dog Looker-Afterer. These guys are my friendship soulmates. Lifelong friends made doing one of the best jobs in the world.

I’ll think of you all when I’m tucked up in bed, listening to the battering rain and knowing I don’t have to go out in it 🤣

Well today was actually my last official day! No more regular dog walks 🐾🥺 Not going to lie, the weather this week has made it a lot easier to be excited rather than depressed 🤣 Still a couple more special posts to do so don’t tune out just yet!

As well as all the dogs that have come out with me on adventures, there are lots of dogs that do all their walks with auntie Ava. So today a big thank you to Bonnie, Hoshi, Isla, Orla, Louis, Ritchie, Rubble, Otto, Smokey and CJ (and their humans). It means the world to me that you trusted Dogs Inc to take care of your dogs and I know that Ava is going to take the best care of them with Amor Dogs.

And now a post for another goofball! I’ve had a good laugh looking through photos of the sixth and final squish. Atlas makes a lot of weird and wonderful faces!! 🤪

This boy has done amazingly well in a house with five girls! 🤣
He’s always up for a bit of nonsense and he’s VERY easily distracted but he’s also very loving and cuddly. Loves a treat and makes the cutest wee noises when he’s eating 🙈
Atlas can be a bit…..overstimulated 🤪 so him and his sister Echo now enjoy weekly walks together where we try and keep things nice and calm for them 💙

I’ll miss your wee face looking up at me and hoping it’s your turn for a walk! 🥹

A post today for a complete goof ball!

Cooper does most of his walks with Ava but I remember his first ever walk with Dogs Inc, and not for the right reasons!! To this day, Cooper is the only dog ever to be returned home before his first walk was over 😂 He was so taken by his walking companion, Betty, that doing any actual walking was impossible 🙈 Anyway, with some careful consideration, we found a group of dogs that Coops didn’t fancy quite as much and, although he’s still completely crazy, he’s never been returned home early again 🤩

He has endless energy and is the friendliest guy you’ll ever meet. When he gets out the van he does more bouncing than walking but he always settles down and has the best time. He likes nothing more than chasing his bestie, Jessi! He is greedy, obsessed with a ball, obsessed with the water and never stops. 100% typical lab 🤪

You are a joy Cooper! Hopefully see you again soon 🐾

These two adorable spaniels have just joined walks recently but I absolutely adore them 🐾❤️ Amber and Callie are just the cutest wee duo!

The insane levels of excitement when I pick these girls up probably has the neighbours asking questions 🤣 They are BUZZING for walks. They are veeeeery greedy (getting a photo without one of them mid-bark is a struggle) and they love to go for a good sniff.

Amber is a bit older so likes to hang back with me and see if she can scrounge extra treats while Callie likes to keep up with the other dogs but always gets distracted by smells 🙈

Will miss these cute little faces so much!!

A wee post for the fifth squish tonight 🥰

Erin is my little runaway squish! She seems so chilled out but, given the chance, she’ll be off on an adventure. She’s the only dog that’s ever managed to escape a secure field 🙄
Go in for one of the others and Erin always finds a way to squeeze out to try and join the walk 🐾🤣

I reckon she’s the most bombproof of the gang. Nothing really seems to phase her. She’s even overcome her travel sickness since starting her walks!! She is sweet and cuddly and fun and I’ll miss her lots.

I know I go on about it nearly every time I post pictures of her but I’m just obsessed with Bonnie’s smile! 😁 Have you ever seen a happier looking girl in your life!? The answer is no! She is the cutest and happiest girl of all time 😂

As well as being gorgeous, she is so well behaved. Loves all the other dogs, obsessed with the water and, typical Labrador, will do anything for a treat. She is ALMOST the perfect dog…..but then there’s the fox poo 🦊💩 SHE IS A STINKER!! Just to make life more interesting, she absolutely hates a shower. Will swim all day long but sees that portable shower and that’s a firm no! 🙈 Considering she’s an angel most of the time we can let her off with this one thing.

Hope I get to see that smile again for some ad hoc walks in the future 🐾

Most of Theo’s walks have been with his Auntie Ava but for the past few weeks he’s been back out with me again and it’s been so nice to hang out with this boy before I finish up.

You open up the van and it’s like he’ll just burst out the crate door 🙈 On a walk he’s actually so relaxed though, loves a good sniff. Despite enjoying a peaceful stroll, every once in a while the right dog (mostly Rocco) will convince him to have a wee chase! 🐾

I’ll never understand why white dogs always love muddy puddles so much but as long as he’s happy, that’s all that matters 😂 A quick paw wash at the end of the walk and he’s ready to go home for roobs on all the furniture.

Will miss you lots Theo! 🩵

SQUISHY NUMBER FOUR!! 😍

This gorgeous girl is Echo ❤️ You go in to pick her up and she is so chilled out and gentle but there are certain things in the big, scary world that make her feel really overwhelmed. She comes out on her own or with one of the other squishes so that she gets lots of attention and doesn’t feel too 😱

We try to take her to nice, quiet places so we don’t see other dogs that might worry her and where we definitely won’t see any cats 🤣🤣 She loves doing some training, isn’t afraid to have a wee paddle and has an unrivalled enthusiasm for treats (photos for proof)! Her biscuit catching skills are second to none.

Will miss you lots Echo bum!

Jessi! 🐶 The only dog I know who’s more obsessed with a ball than Harley 😂

From the moment you unclip his lead, he’s raring to go. Just like a typical Springer, everything is done at 100mph! 💨 He loves the mud and the water and if he doesn’t have a ball then a stick or a bottle will do 🙈

Jessi is one of those dogs that always makes you smile because he’s a little bit nuts 🤪 I absolutely love when him and his bestie, Cooper, are on the same walk and it’s non-stop running 🐾

I know I’m a bit of a broken record now, going on about how good all the dogs are, but it’s true!! Jessi is no exception! Apart from occasionally deciding that the bed or the sofa is too comfy to leave and sometimes feeling the need to show strangers that he has a ball 🤣 he’s the best boy.

Will miss this mental boy! 💙

Would you just look at that sweet face!? My wee Evie bum is the third of six squishes to get her special mention.

I absolutely love this girl! 🥰 She has beautiful big eyes and that adorable floppy ear! Being totally honest, she’s a bit of a weirdo. I nicknamed her my roly-poly squish because she spends more time rolling about than she does actually walking 😂 Found some photos to prove it.

She has always enjoyed a slower pace, and now that she’s older she likes going on the senior strolls with Ava every couple of weeks so she can see some of her pals.

I’ll miss your cheeky wee smile and your roly-poly nonsense!

The last sausage dog in the collection 🌭

Stanley is the only dog mad enough to put up with us five days a week 😂 AKA Stan the man, Stanley big baws, Stanwee or Stanley pants.

He is VERY greedy, would probably trade his mum for a bag of treats! He’s a total stinker, having taken the opportunity to roll in poo as well as eat it on many occasions 🤢🤮 Most recently he actually devoured a poo bag that I forgot was in the van 🙈 Total honestly, he’s also a big drama queen! Thinking about it, it’s definitely us that’s crazy to put up with him! I am obviously kidding, we absolutely adore Stan 💙 He does more walks with us than other dogs so it’s just basic statistics that he’d get into more trouble 🤪

I’ve been walking Stanley since he was a bubba. I’ve been by his side through the hu***ng phase, the big snip 🍒✂️, a house move, his IVDD recovery and lots of training to help with his quirks 🤣

I will miss his crazy squeaks when I arrive to pick him up and his adorable puppy dog eyes 🥺

Second post today is for Norte. I think he’s the only dog who is just as enthusiastic about going home as he is about going for his walks 🙈

Apart from being a typical Spaniel, and occasionally getting distracted by smells, he’s just a very good boy. He gets on with all the dogs but isn’t up for nonsense. He likes to plod along, paddle when possible and sometimes taunt the other dogs a bit if he’s got a ball. He’s always checking in to see if there are treats on the go and if he thinks he’s being short changed, you’ll know about it!! 🤣

He’s a dog that can go on any walk because he is so friendly and easy going and I’m going to miss him loads 🐶💙

Just six days of dog walking left 🐾🥺

First post today is for my wee pudding, Envie. This adorable little squish is a total cuddle monster! I think she’s part hippo as she absolutely loves to go in every muddy puddle that she sees 🙈 Needless to say, she doesn’t get any snuggles after that 🤣

She’s one of those dogs that just likes to stick by my side on a walk. I’m sure it’s greediness rather than loyalty but it’s always nice to have her trotting along beside me 🐾

She’s the sweetest girl and I’m going to miss her lots.

Next up for today we’ve got my little Barney boy 🩵

Barney always keeps me on my toes! He finds the world a bit overwhelming and he expresses his feelings through barking 🤣 Thing is, if you find the right walk, with the right dogs, he is an absolute gem! 💎

Of all the dogs, he’s the one pulled up most often about sexual harassment. Poor Stanley just doesn’t feel the same way 😂

Despite being a little monkey sometimes, I have absolutely loved my walks with this boy and he always has the best time with his pals 🐾

I’m going to miss this sweet, little face 😭

I’m starting to get very emotional now 🙈😂

This little munchkin is Roxi ❤️

Roxi is absolutely obsessed with her toys, to the point that I now need to hide them so she’ll actually go to the toilet before play time 🙈 She is a bit of a princess when it comes to the weather and doesn’t like to go outside when it’s raining 🌧️ She loves a treat and enjoys snuffling in the grass for the ones I’ve hidden for her.

My favourite thing about Roxi is how much she loves a cuddle 🥰 When I’m doing her pop-ins we always makes sure there is plenty time for snuggles!

I’ve absolutely loved watching her confidence grow in the time I’ve been walking and popping in for her.

Sorry, been a bit crap at keeping on top of my posts 🙈 I’m going to run out of days so, as much as I hate to make anyone share the limelight, from tomorrow I’ll need to do two posts a day!!

Today is all about Mischief. Being totally honest, out on walks she doesn’t live up to her name. Most of the time she just wants to trot along beside us but, every now and again, there’s a dog that encourages her to play and it’s so lovely to watch her charge about 🐶❤️

Like most of the dogs, she loves a treat. The only time she’s ever mischievous is when she barks if you take too long to feed her 🙈 She also loves an ear scritch. Always makes me laugh when she manages to get a ball 🤣 It doesn’t quite fit in her mouth and she ends up pinging it about the place.

I won’t miss your barking Missy but I’ll miss everything else 😍

Rudi, also known as Roodles, started walks with us at six months old and he’s always been a little softy. He absolutely loves the other dogs and nothing makes him happier than when one of them is up for a chase or a wrestle. He also loves cuddles with his aunties and never says no to a yummy treat.

As well as being a total sweetheart, he is also very handsome! Just look at his bushy beard and those big ol’ eyebrows! Never thought I’d say this but I’m definitely going to miss those eyebrows 🤣

Sometimes Rudi smells something really good and it’s like his ears are painted on but he never goes far, he’d miss his humans and his dog pals too much to wander off!

He is a super affectionate little guy and it’s been an absolute pleasure to walk him 🐾 Be good Roodles 💙

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Rocco is my loveable nuisance!! I know his owners well enough that I feel comfortable saying, for all of social media to see, that he’s a complete twit! 🤣

This boy was one of the originals, he’s been going on walks with Amy for six years and he’s been a total riot since the start. He eats poo, rolls in poo, rolls in lots of other disgusting things and gets all the other dogs wound up BUT he gets away with it because of those big, innocent eyes!

For safety we have to throw treats at him so that we don’t lose a finger 🤣

Despite being a greedy wee stinker, he’s the best fun!! Always up for a run and a play, great with all the other dogs and his greediness means he’s got the most amazing recall.

I’ll miss this guy loads, especially all his funny wee faces and his crazy enthusiasm for his walks 💙

Small sausage, big attitude!! Link is such a wee dude! Even though he is a total grump getting lifted in the van 🙈 he’s my favourite front seat passenger. I love stroking his ears when we’re sitting in traffic and watching him try to fight sleep on the way back from a walk 🐾🤣

Link was super anxious when I first met him. I remember sitting for ages before his first walk, trying to get him comfortable. He takes his time to decide if you’re a worthy human and I’m glad he decided I was alright! Now I can hear his crazy, excited squeaks before I get to the door 😆

Link is generally very chilled out on his walks. He likes to plod along, do his own thing and occasionally check back in for a treat. He hates the rain 🌧️ He normally looks very serious in photos 😑 but managed to find a few where we get to see his cheeky smile.

I’ll miss this little guy loads! 💙

Many of you know that I'm on a mission to become the world's craziest dog lady! While I'm off work over the next wee while I thought I might share some of the things I'm learning on that journey. With Harley being a very 'unique' puppy with lots of energy, I've been reading so much about enrichment and mental stimulation for dogs. Harley never gets fed from a bowl any more. All of her food is given through training and games. This is a great way to get your dogs using their brains which keeps them occupied and tires them out. This video is Harley getting some food in her noise box. She's using her nose but it's also building her confidence and optimism as she's a very nervous pup! If you search canine enrichment on Google or Facebook there are so many amazing resources. I will try and share some more ideas but would love to hear if anyone has tried ideas of their own!!
