⭐️ NEUTER YOUR CAT FOR JUST £35 ⭐️

We are working in collaboration with Murphy & Co Veterinary Practice to bring an affordable cat neutering scheme to our local community.

If you are in receipt of means tested benefits and live in our Aberconwy Branch area, for just £35, you can prevent unwanted pregnancies and give your cat a healthier and happier life.

Neutered cats are less likely to fight and roam, which can help prevent injuries and disease.

Please call 07897525998 for more information.

Hello everyone, just a quick update!
Eira had the second part of her surgery on Friday and is doing well.
Gwyn hasn’t had any ops yet, but he’s being kept comfortable with drops and pain relief. His surgery will cost a lot more, we really hope we can raise enough for his operations to start very soon.

Urgent appeal - two kittens, Eira and Gwyn, need some expensive eyelid surgery. In t… Mike Bird needs your support for Kittens' eyes appeal by RSPCA Aberconwy

Please help these kittens if you can - even a pound will be brilliant!

A plea for help to save these little lives

Call out to all our animal lovers out there, please meet Eira and Gwyn, these 2 adorable kittens were brought into us with severe eye problems. They were born with a defect in their eye lids which meant their eye lashes were rubbing on their eye balls and because left with no treatment caused severe damage to their eyes. Their little lives were hanging in the balance as putting them to sleep was nearly the only option as their surgery is going to cost so much.

When brought into us at the RSPCA Aberconwy in Llandudno Junction, despite the pain they must have been in they were such happy affectionate little kittens so I decided we needed to give them a chance, they hadn’t given up so we didn’t want to give up on them.

They are going to need reconstructive eye surgery which will consist of several operations, 1 of Eira’s eyes is that damaged so will need to be removed but with corrective surgery can save her other eye, and reconstructive surgery will be able to save both of Gwyn’s eyes but this is going to come at a very high cost which is where we need your help. It’s going to around £3000 to do all operations needed for them to live a comfortable happy life. These little babies deserve it.

Please could you be a part of saving these beautiful babies and donate towards their corrective surgery to ensure they can live full and happy lives.

Donations can be made in a couple of ways, click the link or by bank transfer (details at the bottom).

Our new Rhos On Sea charity shop is opening!

We are really excited to be opening our new charity shop in Rhos On Sea (4 Penrhyn Avenue which used to be Athena Hair Design) on Friday 1st March with someone special coming along to officially open the doors at 12:30!

UPDATE: Closing date for applying for these roles is 09:00am Monday 19th February, so please submit your application to [email protected] if you'd like to apply :)

We're hiring!

Excitingly, we are now recruiting 2 part time (21 hrs per week) posts to support out mobile clinic.

We are getting so busy, we really need some help to keep our service on track so we have developed two administrative support roles that help us manage the volume of calls and contacts we have from clients and members of the public, as well as helping us recruit, train and support our amazing volunteers.

You can find job descriptions for the two roles here:

https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1D05r9EMUCLZNV7tABvdRSfjPPpYce74N?usp=drive_link

If you would like to apply for either of these roles, please email [email protected] for an application form.

We would like to start the roles by March 11th 2024 so please bear this in mind when applying.

Many thanks and we look forward to welcoming you to our team :)
